Using Arcpy.mapping in Python Script using MXD, I am able to SAVE the MXD that I am changing ( eg. change extent, save MXD, Export layout to PDF) Using Arcpy.MP in Python Script (not current window, but in Visual Studio Code or other IDE), I am NOT able to SAVE the APRX and then print a layout. You MUST saveAsCopy, which is a real pain. Hoping this gets fixed

These Environment settings all effect the output of raster calculator. You can set environments before running raster calculator: Cell Size, Current Workspace, Mask, Output Coordinate System, Extent, Scratch Workspace, Snap Raster http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//001w00000034000000 Your workaround sounds like a normal approach. The basic concept for geoprocessing is input> tool> output. Moat often they way to 'change' data is to process it into a new form. Have you tried running ypur rasters through the raster calculator? You can set the desired output extent, and coordinate system. Ypu might also try the raster snap option too, which I believe will ensure each raster starts at the same coordinate position. You can have one input and one output raster. Failing that I would create a new "allones" raster of the desired dimensions and values all = 1, and in raster calculator try input raster * allones = desiredoutput.

I have a button in my Addin that changes the Data Frame display distance units to decimal degrees, which works well: IMxDocument mxDoc = ArcMap.Document; ESRI.ArcGIS.Carto.IActiveView activeView = mxDoc.ActiveView; IPageLayout pageLayout = activeView as IPageLayout; IMap map = activeView.FocusMap; map.DistanceUnits = esriUnits.esriDecimalDegrees; My problem is I would like to have a button that changes the map distance units to Degrees Minutes Seconds. I can do it manually through the Data Frame properties dialog box, but I am searching for a C#/ArcObjects way to do that.
