Moin from Hamburg Area (Germany), we've got an issue that after upgrading the GeoEvent Server from 10.9.1 to 11.1 and importing the backuped Configuration-File, the feature service are not shown in the Spatiotemporal datastore overview in GeoEvent Manager 11.1. Created MapService are displayed. See figure attached. I did the upgrade procedure twice. In the first attempt I didn't close the connections to SBDS datastores and the already upgrade Hosting Server. So I fallbacked the snapshot of the VM Maschine of GeoEvent Server and performed the upgrade again, with cutting all ends (to Hosting Server and SBDS datastore cluster). Finally, I got the same issue. So I assume its the backuped configuration file from 10.9.1 what should be imported into the 11.1 GeoEvent according the Upgrade documentation (PDF Document delivered by sofware download). Last but not least - there are currently NO functional limitations - the existing feature services are working well and new real time data are updated and displayed properly. BUT, we have currently no overview about the feature services in relation to the sbds datasources! This is the problem. See figure attached

Hi I've implemented the latest ArcGIS Monitor release 2023.1. In this case I have a concern about using the filesystem on a windows machine (Windows Server 2016). The installation part distibutes to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Monitor and to C:\Users\<SERVICEUSER>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGISMonitor\config-store-server. Apart from the start-up of the Postgres database. I'll suggest going to Esri default with an installation directory and a configuration directory (configurable) . Currently the configuration is stored in the Serviceuser directory. This could be a problem in hardened systems. Otherwise, I like the new design. Keep it Up! Cheers Max

Hi community I've imported the IdP Metadata via URL and saved the configuration. Subsequently, I had a meeting with our IT IdP responsible person, who registrated the Portal (SP) at IdP. The login test fails then. After comparing the entries between IdP-Metadata and the entries in the Portal, I figured out that the Certificate was imported wrongly. The string has been cutted. After replacing the whole string, everything works fine. This is not a question! Help me, if this Post is placed wrong. Cheers, Max

Hi community I set up the latest version of ArcGIS Monitor 2023. For security reasons we need encrypted communication in the network... Under Administration -> Server I've tried to replace the existing certificate with an existing CA-certifcate in pfx-format. It's not working - See attachment. Can you help me? It seems strange to me why a passphrase is needed. Right, the pfx certificate is password-protected... Thx for your help! Max

Hey @geeblr it's a bit tricky and we had a lot of effort to this case. It already starts with the correct input format. In our workflow we take netCDF... What is yours? @RehanChaudhary can you help further?

Hi we are working on an automation process which should publish multidimensional cloud raster files. We tested with Notebooks in ArcGIS Pro 2.8 and ArcGIS Notebook Server 10.9.1. Both approaches produce the same error messages. Here is the code: from arcgis.gis import GIS
import arcpy
import json
import shutil
import arcgisscripting
import xarray as xr
from netCDF4 import Dataset as NetCDFFile
import numpy as np
gis = GIS("home")
output_draft = '/arcgis/home/temperature_interim2.sddraft'
service = "SN"
con = "/arcgis/home/hub_hereon_de_image.ags"
# arcpy.CreateImageSDDraft(out_rasterdataset, output_draft, service,
# 'FROM_CONNECTION_FILE', con, True, None, "netCDF test", "netCDF,test")
arcpy.CreateImageSDDraft(out_rasterdataset, output_draft, service,
'ARCGIS_SERVER')
try:

'/arcgis/home/temperature_interim2.sddraft', '/arcgis/home/temperature_interim3.sd')
warnings = arcpy.GetMessages(1)

Yeah, this requirement of AVX support needs to be official documented. I know that you have to consider the platform perfomance parameters when you design your infrastructure or if you plan an upgrade to a newer version. I use https://www.spec.org/cgi-bin/osgresults for checking the CPU performance. You need contemporary and modern hardware. Look here http://wiki.gis.com/wiki/index.php/Platform_Performance I know this is a little off topic, but my point is that you can avoid a lot of problems downstream. Good luck to all of you!

I remember it was the "import arcpy" command. It merely worked, when an other random package were imported firstly.

Hi @MartinKrál you made my day in this case. Your mentioned command "!more /proc/cpuinfo | grep flags" responsed that we have a AVX supported CPU. The followoing works for us: import tensorflow
import arcpy
from arcgis.gis import GIS
gis = GIS("home") Already in 10.8.1 we noticed there is a correlation in form of the order of the import packages. If you import a specific package first you can import another package successfully. If not, the kernel dies. If we omit "import tensorflow" the kernel dies.... I guess the above approach is a good workaround to live with. The uninstall tensorflow approach I'll keep in my mind. Thanks a lot. Best regards Max

Hi
we'll try to publish a CRF File (converted from netCDF) as an Image Service from ArcGIS Pro 2.9.0.
The symbolgy we add via Raster Function template (Saved via ArcGIS Pro). Finally, the Raster function is not shown properly.
If we create the Raster Function Template in ArcMap 10.8.1 and use this file for publishing workflow in ArcGIS Pro, the Raster function template is shown properly in ArcGIS Portal Map Viewer (10.9).
The workflow in ArcGIS Pro:
1. Convert netCDF to CRF
2. Create symbology (save as Raster function template)
3. Publish Image Service
4. Legend wrong, Raster function template

Hi @shikhar_deep we stopped anlyzing this issue. In Version 10.7 and 10.8 we had successful tests. Not in 10.9. We guess there is an issue within the 10.9 advanced image. For example we imported the 10.9.1 Advanced Image as a custom image. The import functionality works apparently. But afterwards we had a lot of crashes by using arcpy. The ressources for executing such notebooks a highly sufficient. 8 Cores, 32GB RAM. The analyzed platform performance is great. I sent the 'docker commit' image link to you via private message. Thanks a lot for your efforts. Best regards Max
