Hello, I would like to know how to get the following behavior of the intersect() method inside the geometryEngine component of ArcGIS JS 4.16 (How Intersect works—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop ). I have 2 geometries of the type Polyline and when I use the method intersect() of geometryEngine (geometryEngine | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.16 ), it returns null, even though others methods like crosses() and intersects() return true. The following post seems similar to my question, but the solution doesn't apply to my case, since the intersect() method in version 4.16 API only accepts two arguments and not 3 like it uses in the code given (https://community.esri.com/message/878714-lines-intersect-but-cannot-get-a-point-that-intersects-them?q=intersection%20b… ). Thanks! Have a good one!

Harish, Thanks for the answer. The MapImageLayer class exists. However, the method addImage doesn't, and is the one used to add the MapImage to the MapImageLayer in the example given. No access to local filesystem. Got it, thanks! Regards, Matheus

Hi, Harish Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, the example given uses the method addImage from the MapImageLayer class which doesn't exist in version 4.x of the ArcGIS JS API. Also, in the example, he doesn't use a local image accessing the filesystem. Regards, Matheus

Hello, community I am trying to add a geotiff to my webmap created with ArcGIS JS API 4.x. Since it needs to be a service to serve the image, I installed a local instance of GeoServer on my computer and published a WMS for the image in question. However, everytime I try to call the service via URL, the console shows the following errors: [esri.layers.WMSLayer] #load() Failed to load layer (title: 'Layer', id: '172336bbd33-layer-0') message: "XML Parse Error" [esri.views.LayerViewManager] Failed to create view for layer 'Layer, id:172336bbd33-layer-0' of type 'wms' The following piece of code is what I am using: var layer = new WMSLayer({ url: "http://localhost:8080/geoserver/Test/wms?service=WMS&version=1.1.0&request=GetMap&layers=ProjectT%3AFAA_UTM18N_NAD83&bbox=223586.23651964564%2C4184720.1300687897%2C259261.49928124566%2C4217906.977453323&width=768&height=714&srs=EPSG%3A26918&format=image%2Fgeotiff", }); map.add(layer); The API seems to expect a XML and not a geotiff. Any suggestions? Thanks and have a nice day!

Is it possible to add a local image not georeferenced and set the coordinates in which it has to be (long, lat)? The only examples found were in the documentation which accesses a url from an ArcGIS server that provides a service for an ImageServer and adds it to a layer. Thanks!
