Since im working at a detailed level here the preferred option would be all separated per route, although sometimes the combined result is what were after, but I guess I can summarize the outputs afterwords if that is part of the same feature class? This goes back to the idea of analysing routes that have a specific market or destination. If the output somehow encompass the complexity of direction (e.g. 1 or 0 same as for the individual route tool) that would make for a good analysis of public transport access to or from work during rush hour.

As far as I know the only way to run the "count trips on route"-tool is by analysing one route at a time, hence the name individual route. Its not possible to do run the tool with multiple input routes. So having the option to do a multiple route-analysis would be ideal.

Hi Melinda I think its great that ESRI develops these tools. Its definitely relevant for us working in the PTAs. Would be great to see the count trips at stops giving us statistics of what routes serves each stop and how many trips each route has. Say for instance you have 20 trips at one particular stop, but its only one route that gives you an oppurtunity to reach a certain destination. This route may only have 3 trips within the selected time window. That may give the population in this area a poor access to that destination even though they have a lot trips nearby. Another thing that would be neat is to be able to pick the routes you want for the count trips on route-tool. It might be that you only want to do this operation for an area, not counting all trips or do one route at a time and then adding them together afterwords. Regards Martin

Hi, Im using the new transit tools in Arcgis Pro and it works well with my transit model. Service areas, routes, all works well. The same goes for the calculate accessibility tools, the time lapse and the rest. But I can't seem to get the walking distance part of the result. There are fields intended for this information in the output, but it gives me NULL-values, as this example from a service area lines output is showing: Is there something wrong in my travel modes or cost attributes? I followed the tutorial on this part. I've also seen this quote on the Arcgis PRO-sites: "It is also not possible to limit the traveler's walking time or distance separately from the overall travel time. For example, you cannot create a 30-minute service area but limit the walking time to 5 minutes. The service area output will show the area reachable within 30 minutes of walking, riding transit, or a combination of the two." It is the combination of the two im after or the walking part of the travel. Is there a way of working around this? Thanks again for great tools. I'll get back to your post on ideas for new tools. Im currently working in a PT-company and where just starting out using GIS for analysis on our transit network. This helps us a lot! Martin
