Hi Marten, Thank you so much for your response on above asked question. we are expecting the same result which you have shared above. and as suggested by you, 1. we have tried to replicate aggregation query as mentioned below : let aggregations = { "aggregations": { "src_Spatial_representation_type_s_count": { "terms": { "field": "src_Spatial_representation_type_txt_s" } } } }; But in response doc counts are 0 whereas it has abundant data in database. I am also attaching json sample as a reference if you to have a look. 2. Is there any problem with terms aggregation if field type is not keyword and is in form _txt in place of _s.

Hi, I am using Elastic Search URL to get metadata from ESRI Geoportal. When I am Posting query in Geoportal it is returning single feature set as result and it's total count in DB( Feature set Count Exceeds Default Count :10000). For Ex:- PayLoad Screenshot below. Response Screenshot Below: But For every Distinct Value against a Field in Metadata i am posting individual query with changed field value. So to reduce the number of posted queries. Is there any way we can get all the distinct values against a tag and their respective counts in metadata using elastic search if any please reply. .

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with the ArcGIS Experience builder (Version: 1.3, ArcGIS JS API 4.17). In the map widget, there is an inconsistency, when displayed in different screens. When using the application in Small or Medium device mode, in the map widget, we can see the Layer List and Legend tabs. But the same application, when opened in Desktop mode, The Legend Tab is not visible. This is causing a throughout inconsistency in the application. Can someone please suggest me to either hide that extra tab or make it visible in the application, to make things right in both the places. As of now, I am unable to make changes as the default map customization does not allow me to make these changes. I am attaching screenshots of the situation. Requesting help for this. Thanks!

Hello, I am facing an issue with the Experience Builder. Version of Experience Builder: 1.3 , Version of ArcGIS JS API: 4.x When I am working on the iPad and medium screen devices layout, upon selection of the Menu widget, the menu item has a strange behavior. As the items in the menu correspond to the pages that are created, the second page is omitted from the menu layout, when a vertical layout, or an icon layout is selected from the menu. This issue persists only in Medium Device mode for the second menu item entry. Example Scenario - Please refer to the following screenshot. When medium screen mode is selected, and the menu has 3 items(Home, Request Status and Request Status 2), the second item is not shown in the vertical layout and a similar behavior can be seen in the icon type layout. If I remove or hide the Request Status 2 page, the menu on vertical and icon type shows just one menu item(Home), and the second item(Request Status) is ignored, as Request Status 2 is hidden(or deleted). However, if I select a Horizontal type layout, I can see all the 3 menu items. I have attached similar screenshots of the menu widget in the mobile layout as well, which shows a normal behavior on any type of selection. I tried fixing this through various measures but I have reached a dead end now. A help would be really appreciated here. Thanks in advance!

Hello Everyone, We are using ArcGIS Experience Builder 1.3 release for developing application that works with ArcGIS server services and Portal for ArcGIS but we are facing problems with JIMU UI components and Widget to Widget communication. Case 1: We are trying to dynamically change the state of JIMU UI Check box from one widget but it seems like conventional way ‘document.getElementById (“CHKBX_ID”).checked=false’ is not working for JIMU UI Checkbox. Our logic makes it kind of compulsory to use JIMU UI Checkbox instead of conventional input type ‘checkbox’. Can someone please suggest the method to uncheck or check the checkboxes of JIMU UI from Typescript or JavaScript? Case 2: On Unchecking or Checking the checkbox we also want to call the eventlistner function that is attached to the ‘onChange’ of the element but it seems when we are dynamically or programmatically changing the state of checkbox it doesn’t calls the ‘onChange’ of the element. Can someone please suggest how to initiate onChange of an element when the state is changes programmatically from JS? Case 3: We need to call a function present in one widget from another widget in the same application but it seems widget communication documentation only show’s how to pass the data not the methods/functions. Can someone please suggest how to initiate method from one widget which is a part of another widget from JS? Thank you all

Hello All, Need your help on below : Requirement/Expectation : (Preview Tool) in Experience Builder, here requirement is to preview Image Service and project its Spatial reference on fly into various other spatial references What we have in our project ArcGIS server environment is one Image service(WKID:27700) & one Esri Online basemap(WKID:3857). Targeted Spatial Reference : 4326,4277,8685 & few other Custom Projections. Methods/Challenges : 1. First We are tried to Reproject image service into targeted spatial reference but while reprojecting it is throwing error saying "Image service spatial reference is Read only". Is there any way to reproject Image service into targeted spatial reference on the fly in our EB application? 2. Secondly as a workaround we tried to achieve this using changing Spatial Reference property of "mapview" to targeted spatial reference which will further wrap added data on "Mapview" based on "Mapview's Spatial Reference" but during change basemap(Esri Online Basemap) is throwing error "Selected Basemap cannot be converted into targeted spatial Reference" due to which basemap is not loading. Is there any way we can change Esri Online Basemaps Spatial Reference or we have to create our own basemap? Please check the snapshot attached. 3. If we create our own custom basemap will it allow us to change the spatial reference of our map on the fly?

Hello everyone, Greetings to all. I am using ArcGIS Experience Builder Developer Edition 1.3 and developed single page application containing a few COTs widgets and a few custom ones. Application is ready for deployment on IIS & according to ESRI documentation all we need to do is to export the experience/application, extract it and host on IIS, and authentication in the ESRI documentation says, for securing the web-map, map widget and map-content one need to add Application ID in the “ClientID” key of “attributes JSON” in “config.json” of the application. Support URL: https://developers.arcgis.com/experience-builder/guide/deployment-topics/ Following mentioned steps here is my observation: On accessing application hosted on IIS authentication wizard is prompted for webmap or map preview (map widget auth) but rest of the application loads without any kind of authentication. In case of Web AppBuilder, the application is map oriented hence the authentication works for complete app and not just map. It would be really helpful if someone can suggest a method to implement authentication from SAML-Azure AD on Experience Builder application when hosting it on IIS web server. Thank you!.

Hello Everyone, Greeting for the day !! I am facing trouble with filter widget in WAB application. The widget contains multiple filter parameters to filter out data from a layer, most of the input DOM elements are drop-downs / filtering select. In the widget, when a user try to open a set of filter containing different DOM elements, these elements tends to duplicate multiple times. There is no pattern in the occurrence of this issue they might duplicate 4-5 times and might not duplicate at all and this issue takes place for almost all the filter sets. I was hoping if there is something we can do about it to resolve this issue, please let me know if there is any work around or resolution to this. Screenshot is attached below for reference: Thanks, Mahender

Hello Everyone, I have a query related to ‘ArcGIS Feature Server ApplyEdit’ method and associated string field update. We have AGE 10.7.1 setup where in we have point to point interfacing with Maximo wherein spatial data is pulled as XML files form ultimate source and with the help of JMS service the data is pushed(add/update/delete) into ArcGIS server hosted feature service using Apply Edits method. There is a field ‘Description’ in the hosted feature service which is of the type ‘String’ and have sufficient character length with description details of respective features. We observed that the 'ApplyEdit' method used from JMS service fails due to invalid value in the field ‘Description’, resulting in JMS service queue to stop with errors logged in ArcGIS Server. We further investigated that the feature data having specific character value as ‘>’ or ‘<’ part of description is causing this unexpected behaviour. Replacing these values ‘<’ as ‘Less than’ or ‘>’ as ‘Greater than’ the feature update method works fine . As I believe being a string field it should accept all values including ‘<’ & ‘>’ in similar way as for other wildcard characters like ‘%’,’$’, etc. without any issue. Did anyone observed any such limitations, validation over string fields while working with feature service or we are missing something here? This issue is appearing now and then , Could anyone please suggest ? AGS Log depicting error screenshot is attached for reference. Thanks, Mahender

Hi, I have created multiple groups and webmaps in Portal for ArcGIS, then shared those webmaps to different groups. For e.g. Group1: (Webmap1, Webmap2, Webmap3) Group2: (Webmap4, Webmap5, Webmap6) Group3: (Webmap7, Webmap8, Webmap9) Then, In WebAPP, loaded these webmaps inside "ChangeWebMap" custom widget with respective to group user login Now, issue is here. I want to load particular webmap as default for e.g. Webmap3 incase of Group1, Webmap5 incase of Group2 and Webmap7 incase of Group3 But what is happening Webapp on initial loading is taking default webmap mentioned in config.json I want to set default webmaps on application load with respective to group (user login) Note: I have observe that WebApp before user logs in reads the config.json and set the map properties alongwith map.itemID = WebMap ID, due to which unable to set WebMap ID of logged-in user/group Thanks, Deepak C

Workflow: We have a multi-version SDE GDB (10.2.2) for our landbase. Editing of buildings, roads etc. is handled through a set of systematically named versions by multiple users. Simultaneously, some other user might be updating city boundary or its attribute(s) in a different version. The Building & road feature classes have attributes to indicate which city the feature belongs to. These attribute in the building / road FC are updated from the attributes if City Boundary FC in which the building / road falls. This scheme helps improve performance of most applications as Spatial Queries are avoided in favour of Attribute Queries. The challenge being faced is when a city boundary / attribute is updated, the building features in it need to be spatially selected and relevant attribute needs to be updated in the version which . This poses 2 problems: Long edit time for spatial selection and update of several thousand buildings within the changed City Boundary Conflicts with several versions in which some of the buildings in that city might have been edited. Long reconcile / Post time One of the ideas to overcome the conflicts was to identify the version of each building falling in the city and update the attribute in such edit version instead of the common City version. We need to find any method / script which could allow identification of all versions (except DEFAULT) in which a feature has been edited.

I would like you to ask following two queries on Hadoop for ArcGIS: 1. Most of the presentations / demos focused on Point-in-Polygon counts. Do the Hadoop Esri GP Tools work on Polygon-in-polygon scenarios? How efficient are they when counting, for example, buildings in a state or county? 2. In the presentations by Eric Hoel / Dave Parker in 2015 Esri Dev Summit at one stage (21:40 min), it was mentioned that Copy to HDFS tools should be avoided for loading Tera Bytes of data from SDE DB to HDFS. In that case, how do I load large spatial data (50 mil buildings ` 0.5 TB) from SDE GDB in to Hadoop?
