You can change the value of individual pixels by code using numpy (which is installed with ArcGIS for Desktop). See the following example: How to change value of an individual pixel using arcpy?

Hi, I'm logged into ArcGIS Online and I copy/pasted the command (which seems identical as the one I used) and I get an error 840. Do you know why it doesn't work? Thanks!

Thanks for your answer! I tried the following call in the Python window of ArcMap and I got an error 440: arcpy.MakeImageServerLayer_management("https://sentinel.arcgis.com/arcgis/services/Sentinel2/ImageServer", "test", mosaic_method = "BY_ATTRIBUTE", order_field = "AcquisitionDate", order_base_value = "2018/06/22") Then I remove the last part of the URL and no error was raise but nothing was added to the TOC. I also tried so assign the call to a variable and called arcpy.Describe() on a runtime error was returned. Do you not what's wrong? My ArcMap version is 10.4.1.5696. arcpy.MakeImageServerLayer_management("https://sentinel.arcgis.com/arcgis/services", "test", mosaic_method = "BY_ATTRIBUTE", order_field = "AcquisitionDate", order_base_value = "2018/06/22") I was looking a the sort field values available and was wondering what SyncDateTime and DateUpdated meant? Could I use one of these in order to always have the most recent image in my map document? Do you know where I can find the documentation on all those values? Thanks a lot !

Hi, I started working in ArcMap with Sentinel-2 layers from the Living Atlas. I would like to know if it is possible to add those layers by code to ArcMap and especially by specifying an acquisition date? Thanks!

Hi, in ArcMap, you just need to right-click and access the layer properties, then go the the Mosaic tab, choose "AcquisitionDate" and enter the date.

Hi, I’ve encountered a bug with the Video Multiplexer geoprocessing tool (with the tool itself and with ArcPy). I haven’t use the other tools so I don’t know it its specific to this tools or to FMV. I’m using ArcGIS 10.4.1 with FMV 1.3.1. The bug is related to the decimal symbol. The Video Multiplexer geoprocessing tool works fine with the dot, but fails to work properly with the comma as set as the decimal symbol sets in the Windows regional settings. It’s a kind of cryptic bug because the tool or its call via ArcPy doesn’t raise any error. However, the motion imagery file created has a size of 0 kb and the execution time of the tool is way too fast to be normal. I work in a government department where the IT settings are pretty strict so it’s a bit annoying to change my settings when I need to use FMV. Thanks!

In a recent post we discussed about audio data that is not currently retained by the Video Multiplexer tool of FMV. Is it possible to keep audio data in the new release?

Thanks for the information. Keeping audio content would be a great feature to add to a future release of ArcGIS FMV, especially considering that MISB does support audio (see: http://www.gwg.nga.mil/misb/docs/standards/ST1001.1.pdf). This morning I also tried to add audio to the ArcGIS FMV multiplexed video output with ffmpeg but it turned out that it doesn't seem possible either. Thanks for the help and please let us know when this feature will be available.

Hi Cody, Everything else seems to work properly. Our videos are properly multiplexed and I can follow them in ArcMap. The only bug I encountered during initial testing was a System.FormatException. It was caused by the decimal separator in our Windows regional settings (we normally use a comma instead of a dot). As mentionned before we use a custom Python toolbox to multiplex our videos. I've also tested it "manually" by using the Video Multiplexer geoprocessing tool and I still loose sound. Here's a link to a sample video and associated metadata. It was filmed with a Garmin Virb. Please let met know when you've downloaded the files. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hr066t2g8oswmkr/AABclIhugs-_ftQtQUMyE7_La?dl=0 Thanks for your help! EDIT: I think it's worth to mention that I've tested it on two different computers and we've lost audio on both.

Hi! We are new users of ArcGIS FMV. We’ve program a Python toolbox that is using the Video Multiplexer to automate our workflow. Our input videos (mp4) contain sound. However, every multiplexed output videos don't have sound. Is this the expected behavior of the tool or there is an option somewhere? We really need to keep audio data in the videos. I’m using ArcGIS 10.4.1 with FMV 1.3.1. Thanks!
