Hi Jay, Since at some point we'll be moving to attribute rules, we'd like that ability there. Thanks, Lisa

Hi Jay, That's a good question. We are in the middle of migrating from ArcGIS Desktop to Pro and currently still use Review Batch Job workflows since all the checks we need haven't been migrated to Attribute Rules yet. I would say we'd like them in both locations, but I realize batch jobs are probably going away so having them in our ultimate destination - Attribute rule workflows would be great. Thanks! Lisa

Hello, In ArcGIS Desktop, Data Reviewer supports the ability to edit records in a session. This isn't currently available in Pro. We find this ability valuable - we delete/edit records in a few different scenarios: When creating additional feedback during QC - We run batch jobs as part of the QC process, but also create additional records manually for the analyst to review. Sometimes we make mistakes and need to edit or remove manual records. Sometimes analysts make mistakes when working through a list of errors and would like to edit the Status or Correction Notes. If they can’t edit, they may delete a record, rerun the batch, and update the Status/Correction Notes again. We have a process that writes exceptions from a given session to an exception table (so they won’t pop-up in every job), but we don’t want all exceptions to be written. So in that case we delete those records prior to running the process. And finally, sometimes when testing checks, we write results to a table since it can be easier to work with them. If you get incorrect results, it’s easier to delete them than getting stuck with a table full of stuff you don’t want or having multiple reviewer sessions.

Hello, In ArcGIS Desktop, Data Reviewer supports custom (user-defined) fields. This isn't currently available in Pro. We find additional custom fields extremely helpful when reviewing and correcting errors since features are only identified by Object ID in the Reviewer Results table. It can be difficult to tell them apart, sort, or group them. We've added things like Street Name and Street Type (for our parcel, address, and street data). This helps us in several ways including - it's easier to work with more recognizable information and allows us to locate and work with features in the same area since they often suffer from the same errors and can be corrected as one group instead of one at a time.

Hi Kumar, Thanks for the info. We would like to move forward with attribute rules, but so far not all the checks we currently use are available. It would be cumbersome for our analysts to have to run multiple sets of checks from multiple places, so for now we'll be staying with batch files. Thanks, Lisa

Hello, I am using a data reviewer batch file in ArcGIS Pro and have selected the 'Changed Features Only' option. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working. I ran a batch job on a brand new version with no edits and then again on the Default version (the parent) and in both cases errors were found. We are using traditional versioning and the checks are only running on one feature class (no secondary data resources). My understanding is if the feature wasn't edited (ie different from the parent) it shouldn't be checked, so no errors should be returned. This is how it works in ArcMap, I ran the same scenario and no errors were returned. Is there a trick to getting Changed Features Only to work? Thanks, Lisa

Hello, We are currently in the process of migrating from ArcMap 10.6.1 to ArcGIS Pro 2.7. One of the extensions we use every day is Data Reviewer. Something we have in our ArcMap setup is custom (user-defined) fields, which are extremely helpful when working through errors. These custom fields are set up in the data reviewer database, but when we work with new or existing sessions that contain these fields they don't show up in ArcPro. I haven't been able to find any documentation that says they are supported. Does anyone know if they are and if there is a trick to adding them? Thanks! Lisa

Hello, Does anyone know if it's possible to delete individual records from a data reviewer results table (session) in ArcGIS Pro. This was possible in ArcMap but I can't figure out how to do it in Pro. Thanks! Lisa

We just upgraded to 2.7 and are experiencing something similar. When a job is first created, it has a parent of 0, but once we change something on the Descriptive Information tab and click Apply, it changes to -1. For the parents getting wiped out and replaced with -1, what we've seen is that it's fine when we first set up the job. We can make multiple separate changes to Descriptive Info, click Apply each time, and it's all good. But If we close the job (just the interface), open and make additional changes, then the parent disappears. I do hope this will be fixed; we use parent jobs in our work as well. Thanks, Lisa

We recently upgraded to ArcGIS Pro 2.7, and the topology layers are repointing to the job version now, yay! Unfortunately, it looks like the option not to repoint particular layers (like reference layers) is not available. From the latest help, "All the layers in the ArcGIS Pro maps (.mapx) will be repointed. Layers in the map (.mapx) cannot be configured in a way that they don't repoint in the Job Type properties on the Maps tab." This is an important part of our workflows. I know we can set whether a layer is selectable/editable, but layer lists can be long and it's easy to make a mistake when users are turning things on/off. And layers added after the map is launched will be repointed once the map is closed/reopened. Will 'not repointing' be an option in the future? Thanks, Lisa

Oh no, I had no idea! Sorry about that. I do hope they add the capability, we found it very valuable in our work.

Hi Milko, We've been using Workflow Manager for Desktop in our shop for many years and there is the ability to change Priorities through the Workflow Manager Administrator. We are testing things out in Pro, but the Administrator is still available with the ability to change Priorities. I'm not sure if there is another way to do it. Do you have access to that tool? Lisa
