"Please note that if you overwrite your hosted feature layer you must set this everytime." Unfortunately, this isn't even close to a solution. For those of us who overwrite our layers outside of ArcPro using Python, this doesn't work. The time zone set gets overwritten with UTC when the Python script runs the overwrite, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to set the time zone in the ArcPy FeatureSharingDraft class.

Yes, like Derek said, the issue was apparently due to our lack of a SSL certificate. Once that was resolved, the HTML problem went away.

Not a clean, easy way, but it can be done with Python if you're willing to put some effort into it. It's not the simplest (or at least I didn't think it was, but I'm also not well-versed in Python). It wasn't my script - I found it on GeoNet. It's been a while since I used it, so I'm not 100% positive this was what I used, but I think so. At the very least, these should get you started: Overwriting feature layers | ArcGIS for Developers <-- start with this one https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/api-python/analytics/updating-your-hosted-feature-services-with-arcgis-pro-and-the-arcgis-api-for-python/?rmedium=redirect&rsource=/esri/arcgis/2017/03/14/updating-your-hosted-feature-services-with-arcgis-pro-and-the-arcgis-api-for-python I remember needing to bookmark these at some point for this, so you might need them too: CreateWebLayerSDDraft—ArcPy | Documentation FeatureSharingDraft—Sharing module | Documentation Hope that helps. Please upvote this idea so that hopefully one day ESRI will give us an out-of-the-box tool for Modelbuilder!

Thank you!! When you upgraded from 10.6 to 10.7 versions, did you have to redo this, or did it naturally occur as part of the upgrade? We are pretty new to this and haven't yet had to upgrade versions, so we aren't sure what all will transfer from version to version and what all will need to be done manually. Thanks again for your help!

Eric Peña, would you mind posting a screenshot of where exactly you did this in the HTML file? I'd appreciate it. This is exactly what I'm trying to do, but I don't see the <div id="signInStyle"> that you mentioned in your reply in my HTML file. Please and thank you!

Let's say you have a model in ArcGIS Pro that you run regularly to clean/change some data, after which you share that layer to your Portal/AGOL. To share the result of this layer, you have to either do it manually (right click --> sharing --> overwrite web layer) after running your model, or you can create a Python script to do it and embed the script into your model. However, there is no simple, out-of-the-box "Overwrite Web Layer" tool that you can drag and drop into a model that will do it. This would be very useful for those of us that aren't great with Python and want overwrite a hosted feature layer from within ModelBuilder. arcgis - pro overwrite web layer modelbuilder

Hi Derek, I appreciate your responding to Nita's message. I have the same question as she did, and I've looked at the link you sent, but it really doesn't do what I need it to do because I've found the usage stats to be completely inaccurate. For instance, I know something was viewed yesterday. I was standing over someone's shoulder when they opened it and used it. I, too, opened and used it yesterday. Yet, it doesn't even show up as an item in the "Content Details" when I look for the last 3 days (I did 3 days just to give it a buffer, and there are no other filters set other than the dates at the top). Really, the way AGOL had it set up in the Item Details was just fine and seemed to provide accurate information. Having accurate usage feedback the way it exists on AGOL is critically important, and since it already exists in AGOL, I can't understand why the Portal would not offer it. Are there any other options? Is this at least on the road map for future Portal updates? Thanks for you help!

It appears this was likely caused by our lack of a SSL (we were waiting on it to get purchased/installed). Now that it's been installed, the field-based tag formatting works.
