Hello Sage, How are you creating your custom build of 3x? Are you using the Web Optimizer (https://jso.arcgis.com), here's the help https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jshelp/inside_web_optimizer.html. There's also doc on using Bower https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jshelp/inside_bower_custom_builds.html.

Hello Nicolas, Thanks for the feedback. I just tested the streets-navigation-vector basemap with 4.3 on Google Nexus 5 Chrome version ( Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus 5 Build/M4B30Z) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.91 Mobile Safari/537.36). There are no errors in the console. require([
"esri/Map",
"esri/views/MapView",
"dojo/domReady!"
], function (Map, MapView){
var map = new Map({
basemap: "streets-navigation-vector"
});
var view = new MapView({
container: "view-div",
map: map,
zoom: 4,
center: [15, 65]
});
}); I also looked at the the same map with 4.2 but didn't see any errors when remotely debugging the device. JS Bin - Collaborative JavaScript Debugging If you can share the url to your custom vector tile layer hosted on ArcGIS Online, I'll be happy to take a look at it. Lloyd

You need to use one of the following: ArcGIS Online organization or ArcGIS for Developers account. The help link in the Web Optimizer will take you to this page: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/jshelp/inside_web_optimizer.html#prereq where the prerequisites are listed. FYI, for the next release we have also added a warning when a user logs in with an account that does not have access to the build system. Lloyd

Hi Marcus, Try setting a default geometryService: require(["esri/config"], function(esriConfig) { /* code goes here */ esriConfig.defaults.geometryService = "http://servername/arcgis/rest/services/Geometry/GeometryServer”; }); We will be adding this to the docs for 3.12. -- Lloyd

I just re-published my service with 3.0 hot pink outlines to test. It first draws it with them and then overwrites with the typical 1.0 black. Hi Ray, Setting the base symbol should do the trick. See lines (GenerateRenderer_SetOutline.mxml#L96 and GenerateRenderer_SetOutline.mxml#L140). Hope this helps. Lloyd

Hi, I am using the flex viewer 3.6 and I didn??t find this widget compiled for that version. I did found the widget on the Github, but I don??t know how to make it work from there, I don??t know how to compile it. On this link: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=43daf0ffb1d34e31ad752da1340aeb40, only found the 3.5 version, which was loaded successfully. So I configured the widget to see my service. When I preview the application it says 0 features contained. I read all threads here checking possible problems and solutions without been able to solve my problem. When I open the application in Internet explorer and moxila, it gave me this error Thank you for the help! Julia Hi Julia, You can get the latest compiled versions from the releases section on GitHub (https://github.com/Esri/heatmap-widget-flex/releases). I would start with loading the widget into Application Builder and give that a try.

This might be a silly question, but I am quiet anxious about upgrading the viewer if it corrupts my existing ones made i flexviewer 3.5. I have a simple arcgis server / flexviewer application builder installation on one machine. I have added a few extensions - the excellent swipe-viewer, the bookmark-addin and measure add-in. I have also configured my own search. Do I have to recreate my viewers if I upgrade, or is it just to upgrade the application builder and then, voila, everything will work? Concerning the swipe-addin - there are supposed to be no code changes between version 3.5 and 3.6. Regards Sveinung Bertnes Råheim GIS-advisor County-governor of Nordland Norway If you are compiling from source, it shouldn't be an issue provided you also have the source code for all the "non-default" out-of-the-box widgets you are using. You will just need to compile the viewer and all the modules (widgets) and target the 3.6 version source code of the viewer. On the other hand, if you are just using the Application Builder and do not have access to the source code for 3rd-party (community widgets) then you will have to rely upon others to update (compile) their widgets for 3.6. When you install the newest version of Application Builder on your machine, we will give you the option to upgrade your viewer. Naturally we cannot upgrade 3rd-party (community widgets) as we do not bundle those with the out of the box Application Builder. Hope this helps answer your question,

It was reported in a thread from April 2013 this widget could not work on double fields. Based on what I am experiencing, not being able to use double fields is either inconsistent or was addressed in a later release. I am using version 3.6 and am able to display double data as shown below. Does anyone know if I am taking a risk it will fail or has it been fixed? It is not mentioned on the change log. There is an issue on the GitHub repo related to this, please help identify the issue. I need more information to know if it is an issue with the Legend skin or the version of ArcGIS Server you are using. I am currently not seeing this issue when using the service from sampleserver6.

Hi Heberlie and thanks for the reply but.... Is the Flex API team planning to support this? Since Flex api now support tile package it will just make sense to start thinking about these packages as a whole. Thanks Hi Koman, There are no plans to implement the functionality similar to the ArcGIS Runtime SDKs (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) inside of the ArcGIS API for Flex.

Hello All, I'm working on a mobile project where I am trying to use a locator package locally using flex. However it looks like I am getting an error when the package is trying to geocode the address. Is it possible to use locator package in flex api? Has anybody try to do this before Can someone please enlighten me on this issue. Thanks in advance. <esri:Locator id="locator"
url="{File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath('.....gcpk')}"/>

There is NOT an option to use a local resource such as a locator package, similar to how this would be accomplished using the native app options (iOS, Android, etc) that leverage the ArcGIS Runtime SDKs. Hope this helps answer your question,
