Hi, when a user that is Admin and Creator in Portal runs IDisplayTable.CanEditData() for a layer (Validation Line Errors layer) with a single Query capability the result of the function is true. User without admin role gets false function result. The content pane in Pro will not show "Layer type is not editable" warning either when user is admin. I would think if layer does not have other than Query capability should not be editable for any user. Trying editing data in this layer results in error. Is that a bug or is it expected? Thanks!

Hello, I am looking for a solution to display a group of graphic elements on a custom pane, similar to what Symbology editor has on the bottom of the pane. I have geometries with CIM symbols that I would like to display to a user. I looked into MapControl class and while it supports graphics overlays, it does require to have an existing map in the project, or to create a new map that is instantly gets added to the project. Also, less important but nice to have, I was not able to subscribe to user interaction events, i.e. on mouse click. Is there an alternative to MapControl available? Thank you.

Hello! I am observing strange behavior of Pro SDK when running CoreHost application. The application worked before but one day started throwing an error "The operation is not supported by this implementation" on table.DeleteRows() function. Here is a simplified version of the app: try
{
Host.Initialize();
ArcGISSignOn.Instance.SignInWithCredentials(new Uri("https://server.com/portal"), "user", "password", out string refer, out string token);
string fsUrl = "https://server.com/server/rest/services/FS01/FeatureServer";
using (Geodatabase gdb = new Geodatabase(new ServiceConnectionProperties(new Uri(fsUrl))))
{
gdb.ApplyEdits(() =>
{
using (Table table = gdb.OpenDataset<Table>("L1Lines"))
{
string whereclause = "versionid = 347";
table.DeleteRows(new QueryFilter() { WhereClause = whereclause });
}
});
}
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
Console.WriteLine(ex);
}
Console.WriteLine("Finished"); And this what the error looks like: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ArcGIS.Core.Data.Exceptions.GeodatabaseGeneralException: The operation is not supported by this implementation. System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040203): A syntax error occurred trying to evaluate a query string (0x80040203) at ArcGIS.Core.Internal.ITableIOP.Table_DeleteRows(IntPtr tableHandle, IntPtr filterHandle) at ArcGIS.Core.Data.Table.DeleteRows(QueryFilter queryFilter) Query string is valid, I can run rowcursor with this query with no issue. I assume something has changed in the environment, i.e. Windows update, or local credentials cache got expired, or domain policy applied, etc.. but I am just guessing really because I don't know what exactly has changed. Thing is, it is a third server that suffered from the issue, previously we would just move application to another server but this time it is my dev box and I would like to figure out how to fix it going forward in case it happens again. All three servers behaved in the same manner - application runs on schedule multiple times a day for months but one day the application starts throwing the error. We observed it with Pro version 2.9 before, and now in Pro 3.1. When application copy-pasted to another machine it works. Things that did not help so far: reinstalling Pro, running as admin, extending app folder and Pro/bin folder permissions, adding Pro/bin/ to PATH. I know it is probably a shot in the dark but any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, what is the behavior of ArcGIS Server when a client that made a REST request was closed before receiving a response from the server? Does the server abort the job, continue and commit the data changes, continue but does not commit the data changes? To be more specific, the client is CoreHost Pro SDK application, it runs the next long-running data/version management routines, and call synchronous Pro SDK methods: - Version Reconcile & Post - Utility Network Validate - Subnetwork Update Thanks!

Hello, We are running into the issue described in this article Error: The spatial index grid size is invalid when loading data programmatically into file geodatabase with ArcGIS Pro SDK. The article recommends using the LoadOnly mode of a feature class when editing file geodatabase programmatically with ArcObjects, but does this issue has a similar solution for ArcGIS Pro SDK, or is there another solution you could recommend? Thank you, Konstantin

So it's been a while since we saw the error, neither we can reproduce it, we tend to think that disabling/enabling network topology somehow fixed the issue.

Hi, we are getting the error "The source ID did not match a network source." when executing a spatial search in Utility Network feature services from Pro SDK. We run the same script with the same data and the issue is not being consistent, and it seems disabling/enabling network topology resolves the issue. What could cause this error and where to look to troubleshoot it? Should we log the ticket with Esri support instead? P.S. exception we see: ArcGIS.Core.Data.GeodatabaseUtilityNetworkException: The source ID did not match a network source. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Exception from HRESULT: 0x8004311D at ArcGIS.Core.Internal.ITableIOP.Table_Search(IntPtr tableHandle, IntPtr filterHandle, Boolean useRecyclingCursor) at ArcGIS.Core.Data.Table.Search(QueryFilter queryFilter, Boolean useRecyclingCursor) Thanks, Konstantin

My Pro version is 2.1.1, file located at C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\Resources\XmlSchema does not seem to have utility network schema. Thanks!
