Job Summary: Senior level individual contributor to research and manage the data used in decision making for store real estate tactical and strategic plans. Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary · Develops automated mapping and data processes in Alteryx and Esri · Maintains H-E-B, competitive, and demographic datasets · Maintains store location packages for executive management · Prepares and maintains data needed for sales modeling · Technical lead on specific advanced analytics projects such as predictive modeling, customer segmentation, etc. · Independently develops and delivers analytical solutions to meet business needs · Mentors and develops less experienced analysts Education and Experience Preferred · Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, or Computer Science · Master’s Degree preferred · 4-8 years of experience in an advanced analytics role · 4+ years of experience using Alteryx and Esri Suite · Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL · Proficiency in MS Office Key Competencies preferred · Advanced spatial methods and modeling with an understanding of relational databases · Working knowledge of advanced analytics techniques such as logistic and linear regression modeling, clustering, sampling, decision trees, etc. · Able to work with multiple departments and collaborate as needed · Effective written / verbal communication and presentation skills · Strong analytical and project management skills · Strong organization and time management skills with ability to multi-task and attention to detail · Ability to work complex issues with senior management · Ability to influence different audiences · Demonstrates initiative and willingness to take risks · Possesses personal leadership skills Physical and other Requirements · Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment · Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays · Sit for an extended period of time · Hand / Finger dexterity CPFA3232 DATANL3232 Primary Location US-TX-San Antonio Work Locations Headquarters-Arsenal 646 S.
