Unfortunately I'm doing the same thing and it pulls in all sublayers in the group it is contained in. Very odd.

I have a dynamicmapservice layer that I’m trying to load only one sublayer but the entire layer displays The mapserver layers are the following: Layer 1 (0) Sublayer1 (1) Sublayer2 (2) Layer2(3) Sublayer1(4) Sublayer2(5) My code: var myLayer = new ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer("http…..", { id: "myLayer" }); myLayer.setVisibleLayers([5]); All of the sublayers under Layer2(3) load which is Sublayer1(4) & Sublayer(5). I’ve tried using imageparameters but it doesn’t change anything. var myImagePara = new ImageParameters(); myImagePara.layerIds = [5]; myImagePara.layerOption = ImageParameters.LAYER_OPTION_SHOW; var myLayer = new ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer("http…..", { id: "myLayer", imageParameters: myImagePara }); myLayer.setVisibleLayers([5]); Any advice?

I'm only using a infoTemplate, not a popup(which is a subclass of infoTemplate), popuptemplate, or infoWindow. I create the content and then add that to the infoTemplate(protracklInfoTemplate). As for loading each as a separate layer that would definitely solve the infotemplate issue, but then causes duplicates of each in my layerlist.

I have a service with 2 layers that I add to my application with a ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer. var myLayer = new ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer("http....."{}); I only want to set up a InfoTemplate for layer [1] and not [0] but make them both visible. It still displays a infotemplate with "no information available" for [0]. myLayer.setInfoTemplates({ 1: { infoTemplate: protrackInfoTemplate } }); myLayer.setVisibleLayers([0, 1]); I've also tried 0: { infoTemplate: null } but it still displays a blank infotemplate. I've looked through the documentation and I can't determine how to disable [0] while still making it visible.

The symbol that represents my Layer1 only displays part of the time in the legend. If I zoom in and out sometimes I can see it flash for a split second. Layer2 displays at all times. Sometimes it will display initially and then upon zooming in it disappears. The title for Layer1 displays at all times. Both are feature layers. var legend = new Legend({ map: map, layerInfos: [ { layer: Layer1, title: "Layer One" }, { layer: Layer2, title: "Layer Two" }] }, "legendDiv"); legend.startup();
