Thank you Jeffrey. The table in the list is filtered perfectly on selecting a polygon, however, it starts up with the full list, where I want it to show: "No Data" Maybe I don't understand this correctly, but my workflow and data is: A polygon layer with building lots A table with address points (Point layer, but are not using the points to select. This table is filtered out by the selection of the Lot polygon in a list, and by clicking on an address in that list, it's filtering out 2 lists with owners and administrators) A table with information about Lot owners A table with information about Lot administrators A table with information about unit/department owners A table with information about unit/department administrators The filtering of all these tables works, but when I open op the Experience builder, I want to be presented with no data in the lists that contain tables, until a lot is chosen. Thanks

Thank you Jeffrey, it was mainly that I needed to rebuild 🙂 I used the Create a Viev on the feature and added that to the action data on the map What if I want to do the same with a table, that is filtered by a selection in the map through an action connection with the same ID's. I have a trigger on my polygon layer, the action data is a table.

Hi, I have 2 lists in EB, and I'm using actions to filter down the data. Selecting a polygon updates a 1 to many list. I'm using pages on that list. I want my second list to filter on the selected page in my first list, and when I Go to page 2 in my first list, I need my second list to update as well. I can only get this to work by randomly clicking on my first list. Is this possible? Or is there something else I should try. I have some tables, that could be related together through an ID, but I wanted to use the action and the action connections. Thanks.

Hi, By adding a list, it always takes the first part in the table to show that part. I need to get the dynamic data to empty until I select a polygon in the map. It is misleading when something is shown in the list, and it confuses the users, since they can by accident unselect the the polygon, and then it jumps back to the first data in the list. How do I make it empty, when nothing is selected? Thanks 🙂

Arg, thank you for explaining. Survey123, is actually getting mad 😄 but first when you want to publish. Oh man, this is will be a pain to maintain with monthly data updates, hopefully it will be awesome at the end. Thank you I will update my post, that it will not work ignoring globalparentid/GlobalID

Arh got it, it does create a bit of preparation to get to work. This helped me to understand it a bit more: https://youtu.be/n5ytk52KlAk?si=suVHhfAXBhtZUeB1&t=2713 As you said (and what I did) @DougBrowning A global ID is created from the GP tool on the origin layer, a on the destination layer, I'm creating a GUID field "parentglobalid". (Now to the bulky part, I don't know if this could be done smarter) I'm using my own join ID, to create a Join from the Dist to the Origin layer, then I calculate my parentglobalid field from the GlobalID field. This means that my Distination layer have identical parentglobalid attributes, and I can create a 1 to many relationship class. another thing that seems important, is the label that needs to be identical. Now I get repeats in my Survey123. Since I thought the Joining and calculating was a bit bulky, I tested if I could still use my own simple ID (against the blogs I've read, except one) but still making sure that the label is identical in the relationshipclass. //edited from here to match real facts: That will not work! So my big mistake was wrong Labels, and then I need to create the GUID.

Thank you Doug, for your answer. Unfortunately Am still a bit confused about maintaining the relationship between related features. Du I understand the description in the blog's wrong: Repeats will only be created if the relationship uses a GUID field (that's what I'm getting out of it anyway) The global ID is created when you activate sync, but I've already creating the relationship prior to sharing. In my case I use a !buildingID! + !Date! In a text field. Pro and online maintain that relationship, if I share it. If I manually create a GUID field I can't see how that field is jæused as the join field, which is how I understand that Survey123 works. I feel like having something going very wrong in my understanding of this.

Hi, I'm sorry, I can't understand this. I have a 1:M relationship class. when a relationship class is created I have an origin table with a Join ID and a destination table with multiple Join ID's that matches the Origin table. When a relationship is created, I would think that Table A should have a field in Table B that matches. GUID: As far I understand, this is a unique identifier, meaning I would not expect that my "many" table could have identical GUID attributes in the same table. Also it's not that easy to find the relationship between two tables. There must be something stupid I can't figure out here 😄 but I can't make sense of it. I have a number going through all my different datasets, and therefore I'm able to create a perfect relationship class, but since this is only a 10-character field, it will never be able to get calculated into the GUID, and therefore no repeats from a feature service Thanks.

The short story. After 3.2 and the introduction of BigInteger our data are getting unreliable. In the past we received data in double, now they are in BigInteger, which only work in 3.2, not even FME, seems to read those fields yet. Some tools fails to use BigInteger, for example, you can't use them for Relate. The fields I'm using has around 10 characters, and are used as ID's for joining tables, so it's a pain I want to calculate the data from BigInteger to Double. I can use iterate fields, which will find all my BigInteger fields and add them into the output value. I can add a new Double field using the %Value%_ I can't figure out how to do the calculation where it fails in the expression. The Field Name == %Value%_ works So far I've been able to add the name of the BigInteger fields into the new fields, of course that's not what I want. I've been trying something like: Expression: calculateValue(!Value!) CodeBlock: def calculateValue(Value): if Value is None: return None else: return float(Value) and a whole lot of other things, but I'm a bit stuck here. Thanks.

Hi, I can't seem to get this to work. I have a folder with multiple GDB's I need to create a new GDB and add all the features from the collection of GDB's. I started by trying to do it without a few parameters, meaning only selecting the folder containing the GDB's. A new GDB should then be created with the name of the folder selected, then iterating through the gdb's and exporting the content to the new GDB. I can't figure out inline variables, so it will find the parametric folder, that equals the new gdb. name. I can use the get path tool. Which will give me the path, name and extension. Then it would be great if I could just create %path%\%Name%+""+%Extension% but the extension don't include "." Trying to add it fails, it would just create a path like: Myfolder\NameOfGdb"."gdb. Even if I try to not make it smart and manually create input parameters, I can't make it work, maybe I'm just tired now. Anyone who has a solution to this? Thanks

Hi, I'm really struggling here. OBJ files from drone surveys are coming in. I told that they need to be offset, so each "tile" of the obj file is 100x100 , meters. The OBJ centerpoint is in the left bottom, as 0,0, the next tile to the left is then 0,100, so they all reference to the same center point. That made sense. Figured out, that that's not how import 3D files works. The OBJ get imported in the center of a point. No worries, I have alle the tiles and created center points of the tile polygon. It works, and the the obj is placed correctly. However, it is skipping/deleting a lot, so the models now have wholes: So that's one thing, can anyone help with fixing that? In desperation I turned to data I/O (FME) Now my brilliant though about having my obj's offset makes sense. All the OBJ's pops in next to each other, but OBJ don't have any coordinate system using WGS84 web mercator I calculated the offset from the imported lowest corner, to the correct placement lowest corner. In FME I added an offsetter, with my calculated offset. It drops in perfectly placed, however each tile is 5 meter too small. I think this would have something to do with moving half around the world. from outside the coast of Africa to Vietnam. I've tried with more local coordinate systems, but either the 100x100 meter turns into 8 or 11 km, or the model is no where to be found. If the first thing can't work, any idea on how to get the right size offset using FME?

To follow up on this question about authentication I need to say that there's some issues with the authentication. The login screen does not appear by adding a layer. The only way I’ve made it work is when I change the scene from Local to Global, then I can login to my Oauth2 application. That works, however I need to do that on all layers I’m adding to force the logins screen to appear. The second layer crashes the engine though, so I’ve only managed to get one layer in there. I also see that the documentation could make it more smooth for us to get started. There’s no reason to get us to read the full documentation on Oauth2 to know how to do this. I think so anyway. Do anyone else experience the same behavior and get confused about the documentation? Is there a more stable way to do this? I'm on UE 5.3 and the latest SDK. If no authentication is added it works perfectly. @ZorkoSostaric1

No sorry, this does not make sense to me. I thought I got through to it, but can't do it again. I'm creating an OAuth2.0 Application on ArcGIS Online. I need to call that when I add a service layer in UnrealEngine. There must be a standard setup for Unreal Engine. I can't make any understanding of what to place in the redirect URl. Could someone please explain what to add in those to fields as you would for a 3 years old: What I thought was working was the URL to the ArcGIS Online organization + urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob I did see the login screen in Unreal last time, but now I can't get it back.
