Hi Raffi, Thanks for the reply. Below is the sample that I have used to implement my identify. Looking at it, I have tried to set the width property in the css piece with no luck (no such property). I am wondering which .width property you are referring to? I have used in the past custom titlewindow popup display data and I am wondering if that is the only way to resolve this issue. I like the way identify component works and really wanted to leverage that. https://developers.arcgis.com/flex/sample-code/identify-features.htm Thanks.

Hello All, I'm working with the identify feature sample on flex api site, I am quickly noticing that I am not see all the attributes being displayed on the popup window. The attribute values are being truncated because the windown is not large enough. (See image). I also noticed that the identify popup can scroll up and down but not side to side. Does anybody knows how to either set the horizontal scroller on the popup window or change the size of the popup... Thanks

You should still post your code, but I think you are flip-flopping your coordinates. (See attachment).

This is more than likely a spatial reference issue. Make sure you are using the right Spatial reference . Also make sure X is long and Y is lat. var myGraphicPoint:Graphic = new Graphic(new MapPoint(table1.lng , table1.lat, new SpatialReference(3857)));

I think all you need is X and Y coordinates to create mappoints. Assuming you have you data in an arrayCollection or a tempArray you can add XY data to the map in the following fashion:
for(var i:int=0;i<tempArray.length;i++)
{
var obj:Object=tempArray.getItemAt(i);
var myGraphicPoint:Graphic = new Graphic(new MapPoint(obj.X , obj.Y, new SpatialReference(3857)));
myGraphicPoint.symbol = pointSymbol;
myGraphicsLayer.add(myGraphicPoint);
}

Yeah, looks like it doesn't work well for finger clicking. The only times it works is when I am zoomed out really far out or I click it dead center. I wonder if there is a way to expand the clicking area?

Can't you just use the Editor? https://developers.arcgis.com/flex/sample-code/editsecureservice.htm

Hello All, I am using mouseclick event on the map to open a popup in my mobile app. The logic is working fine and works flawlessly when testing it in the simulator. However on the device itself I am having a lot of problems clicking and opening the popup. Does anybody know any tips or tricks to make the mouseclick event more responsive on a mobile environments? Thanks.

OK, I see what you are saying, and I think it will work. I wanted X button on the popup window to only perform: PopUpManager.removePopUp(this); But it looks like the X button when clicked is automatically is dispatching the CloseEvent which is turn is changing the view. I guess I can hide the close button on the titleWindon and use two additonal custom buttons which will give me more flexibility in term on of doing exactly what I need. Thanks a bunch..

Thanks Aaron, your help is greatly appreciated. Your code sample help quite a bit and it works. But now I have another small complication: The CloseEvent and the listener on the main view works wonderfully, however there maybe case when users just want to view the data on the popup without pushing the detailView (PersonalForm), meaning just x-ing out. I am looking into this but just wanted to let you know that with your help, I am on the right track here. if you think of a suggestions for me to differentiate these two tasks: closing the popup versus closing and pushing the view, please let me know. Thanks a million, I am getting closer.

Ok, I will try that. Basically close the popup and pushView. That maybe the ticket. Will keep you posted. Thanks.

Hi Aaron, that didn't work, I got an error 1119: Access of possible undefined property of navigator through a reference with static ........ The challenge is that the popup doesn't have direct access the the navigator. below is the only way I was able to access the navigator but it's giving me error 1009 runtime error. (owner as spark.components.View).navigator.pushView(PersonalForm);
