Hi, Anyone had experience working with API Gateways? In general, would like to check what are the scope/configuration needed to get our services working with the gateway. Thanks.

Hi, Questions on relational data store 10.6.1 being resilient. 1) It is being mentioned that there is a replication from the primary to secondary. How frequent is this being replicated? Can this frequency be modified? 2) Would there be load distribution across more machines if I have 2 standby data stores? If yes, would it strongly or eventual? If there is no load distribution to the standby machines i assume ArcGIS Enterprise would direct to the primary data store? 3) The elevation of secondary to primary is without downtime? 4) What would be the scenario when the user is in the process of publishing to the active data store, and the data store fails. Would user be notified and to republish or are there any queuing mechanisms? Thanks.

Hi, After publishing a feature service from Desktop to ArcGIS Online, would like to check how ArcGIS Online handles the data-at-rest, is it stored in clear or are there encryption for data-at-rest. Are there any experiences of using a security gateway with ArcGIS Online? Thanks.

Hi, There is a capacity planning tool for ArcGIS Enterprise, would like to check if there are any best practices on system design considerations for GeoEvent? 1) Considerations to take note when performing capacity planning for GeoEvent? (Number of event/sec, Number of inputs, processors, outputs, message size, etc) 2) Hardware requirements based on (1) Thanks.

Hi all, I am trying to export GIS to CAD (DGN). There are some additional ArcGIS attributes generated in ArcMap, and I would like to export and preserve them. The "Export to CAD" tool doesn't seem to be able to do so? Or I might have missed out some steps? Do advise. Thanks.

Hi Shana, Are you publishing the composite locator from ArcMap to ArcGIS Server, then add the geocode service REST URL to the utility service section of the Enterprise Portal organization settings for utility services? "Yes" Does this mean that you published the locators by copying the data to the server or did you publish by reference where the locators were in a folder that was registered with the Data Store? "Copying"

Hi Shana, The composite locator is built upon two locators. First is the zip code locator (zip 5-digit style), followed by the land parcel locator (single field). The data in ArcMap is a csv file containing zip codes and parcel ID. To geocode the data, I would choose either the parcel ID or zipcodes. It would then follow with a popup of 100% completed. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have setup a postal (zip code) geocoder, and a geocoder by building names. From there on created a composite locator from both of them. Published to my 10.6 server and added it to Portal (federated and hosted on ArcGIS Data Store) via utility services. Drag and drop a csv onto the map in Enterprise. Tried to geocode using building names and succeed. Drag and drop again to geocode by postal, but unable to locate postal codes. "Error: The layer was not created because no locations could be found. Make sure your data has valid location information" Went on to publish the postal geocoder by itself to the server, and added it to Portal. Drag and drop csv using the postal locator (not composite) and it managed to geocode the results. Does Enterprise supports composite locator? Or are there similar issues faced? Thanks

Hi, When polling an external website for JSON with no JSON object name, the following geoevent definition gets created. The geometry is a constructed field from the input data. I was trying to use metadata.stations.location.latitude for the Y and metadata.stations.location.longitude for X. The JSON parser could not locate the field in the incoming data. On the other hand, when I use stations as a JSON object at my input connector, I can access the coordinates via location.latitude, location.longitude and construct geometry from there on. Is there a limit to the level of nested JSON or are there any configurations which I might have missed? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. I am on ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1, federated and hosted.

Hi, It would be good to enhance the spatial tools with the ability to include geoprocessing services published to ArcGIS Enterprise. This would greatly reduce the gap by allowing us to build distinct business logic across different organisations. Hope to see it coming!
