Is it not possible for an Indoors Viewer to open a dashboard that is restricted to a certain user group of viewers? If I log in to the Indoors portal, all I see is this: If I then try to go straight to the dashboard URL, I get this over and over:

I symbolize by USE_TYPE on the Units in the underlying map image layer and then by Assignment_Type in the overlaying feature class layer. This results in my Units layer being in the Web Map twice.

Yes, that is how my solution is working. It is my understanding that the ASSIGNMENT_TYPE field is required to use the Space Planner app. The app will update the field value to "office" after someone is assigned to the room. If you have a bunch of null values in that field, you could use the field calculator to set them all to none (that's the default). If you set them to not assignable, you won't be able to assign individuals to that room (ie. bathroom). See the Units schema with valid values for Assignment_Type here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/indoors/arcgis-indoors-information-model.htm#ESRI_SECTION2_E02600A8947D47E7965D0AFFD9C4A87C

On your units feature layer, use the Assignment_Type field for your symbology. Then set your symbology as None=Yellow, Office=Red, Hot Desk=Red, Hotel=Red or whatever colors you want to use. It's important to do it on the feature layer because if you don't, the colors won't change until you refresh your viewer. After setting it up, you'll end up with something like this where orange in my case means none:

Do the custom label names have a direct connection to the existing unit name? For example Room 1 coming from L1E205 doesn't feel like I could extract Room 1 from that. Maybe Level 1 or Room 205. If in this case, you're looking for Room 205, you can use an Arcade expression to extract just the 205 as the label for the layer and add Room in front of it. Otherwise, you'll have to add a new column to your Units table with the label you want for that room. You cannot do a relate with a separate table using branch versioning to label the way you are wanting.

I make the user select the floor level and then use that to query out the intersecting room with the matching floor level. I have a domain setup with valid floor levels so that they can't input an incorrect floor level.

I was asking if you are able to manually assign the occupant to the unit using the Indoors Space Manager app? If you are, do so and then compare the occupant feature class row that is assigned with the CSV.

Sorry, I don't know. Are you able to manually assign the occupant to the unit? If so, does everything match up in the occupant table after the assignment to the CSV?

Everything looks good to me. A few things I would look at/try: Verify that the UNIT_ID in the CSV matches exactly to the UNIT_ID in the Units feature class (I'm guessing you already did this) Make sure the version you are working in is reconciled against default and that you are viewing the latest version (this has gotten me before where I updated some data and I thought it wasn't working, but I forgot to refresh my version to see the changes.) I would try running it without the record that contains the accent in the unit id for Jim Baird. It's possible the special character might be an issue (doubtful, but possible).

At first read this sounds like you've done everything correctly, but screenshots of the data used and the geoprocessing field mappings might help a little here.

AGOL doesn't support the map image layer making it so you can't publish the NA layer needed for routing. If your users are going to be using the mobile device instead of a web site, you can publish an .mmpk with the NA in it so that the users can use routing on mobile if you're in the AGOL environment. For what it's worth, the routing experience is better in the app than it is on a website.

When merging a temporary placeholder occupant with an actual occupant record, does Indoors only match if there is a perfect match? For example, if my new employees name is Jane Lin Smyth coming in from the HR database which of the following placeholder names will match when merging? Jane Smith Jane Smyth Jane Lin Smith Jane Lynn Smith Jane Lin Smyth From the limited testing I have done, it appears to match only last one. I'm curious if I am missing something here or if the KNOWNAS field has to be an exact match in both datasets in order for the merging to match the records?

I'm trying out the new placeholder occupants and went to merge after placing one. I receive the message "Placeholder occupant warning - Placeholder occupants from the current plan will not be merged into the default plan. Do you want to proceed?" I am curious if there is a way for the placeholder occupants to be merged or if they are only temporary to each plan?

That makes sense. After changing it to be empty, it now says, "The index passed was not within the valid range."

Using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.2 with Enterprise Portal 11.0 Is it not possible to update multiple fields using a Batch calculation? I'm attempting to create a very basic batch calculation rule as part of a test, but it keeps failing. The same code when used as an Immediate calculation works: return { "result" : { "attributes" : { "UNIT_ID" : $feature.UNIT_ID, "SITE_ID" : 'Location Test', "SITE_NAME" : 'Location Test' }}} When I run it, I receive this error: The server log for the error reads: If I change the rule to "return $feature.UNIT_ID" it works, so I know the value is compatible.
