Hi DavidPike, I am familiar with map series, and this wouldn't really work for the layer, as really all she is doing is going in every day or two to verify and print maps for the newly added points - which she has a list of, and is often no more than a couple a day. There are two different layers as well - so right now she needs to go in and change the number in a definition query for two layers, I was hoping to make it so she only had to enter the new number in once. The only reason I was thinking of building the task is to make it super easy and fool-proof for someone who is unfamiliar and uncomfortable with technology/arcpro. It might not be the right/best way to do it, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks, Julia

I am trying to make a pro project as simple as possible for a user in my organization, so I am creating a task. Is there an easy way to modify a definition query in the task (every time it's the same field/layer, she just changes the number)? Then could that same number be copied and used to query another layer? It seems like it should be possible but I'm just not finding the solution. I basically just want her to be able to enter the number, all the selections and zooming is automated, she can verify, and then an automated export Layout to PDF. Thanks!

I have multiple (16) .tpk imagery files that I want to use for basemap sideloading to collector. I want all of these .tpks to be able to be sideloaded to the same collector map. The two theoretical solutions I can think of are merging the files into one .tpk for sideloading, or some work around to allow collector a single collector web map to accept a bunch of files for upload. I am trying to develop this for a non-GIS team of users, so I want a simple to use single collector map with all the basemap data they might need without them having to change things or re-upload depending on where they are going. So far I have not been able to use the Create Tile Package GP tool from all the .tpk files in a map in ArcGIS Pro. I have not found anything so far on specifically merging .tpk files, though I think that is the more likely solution. I was thinking I could export the .tpk to raster, mosaic all the files to new raster, and then export again to .tpk, but I'm even having trouble exporting the files to rasters. Any suggestions for any part of this process would be much appreciated!

I am trying to sideload an imagery basemap to collector via the Files app and nothing seems to be working. I have the correct file type (.tpk), it's pointing to where it should be, but I keep getting the error "Local Basemap Not Available." The tile packages are using Kreator with Esri world imagery (for export) at various extents and zoom levels but nothing has been successful. Does anyone have any experience/suggestions for this? Thanks in advance.

This seems like it should have an easy solution, but I can't for the life of me find it. I want to query out all features in a layer that do not have a value. I did not create the data, all the features already have their attributes filled in, and there is no "null" value in the blank field I want to query. If I try to just say FIELD is not null in the definition query, everything still shows up including all the features with blank FIELD.

I have a rather large map series with a bunch of polygons showing different "clusters" of points. I would like each map series map to only have the main polygon for that page visible - some of the polygons overlap. Alternatively, how can I have the dynamic text showing the map name only show the desired polygon (right now I have it on "all visible rows," which works for some pages but not others since there are multiple polygons in the map view.

I created symbology for a feature layer and saved it as a style. I imported that exact same symbology to a new "selected" layer, but I wanted the selected layer's symbology to all have a halo, or some differentiating aspect than what is saved in the style. Basically I want to know if there's an easier/faster way to add something like that to all the symbology in a layer (since there are a LOT of symbols), rather than just going through and adding a halo to each one. Thanks!

I have found a lot of documentation on populating Survey123 with attributes/features from other sources, but I am having a hard time finding solutions for the other way around. Basically I want survey123 embedded in a web mapping application where the user can add various points/lines/polygons, but the features that they add should also have a bunch of attribute data that is answered in the survey (i.e. name, permit number, type, etc.). Right now we just have the web app linked from the survey, but it seems like it would be better to automate/autopopulate the attribute data if it's possible. Does anyone have experience with this, or a suggestion on a different way to accomplish? Thank you!

I am creating a survey where it would be extremely helpful if the users could add/draw data for multiple feature layers from a web map (i.e. one question drawing a polygon for perimeter and another question drawing polygons for structures). When I try to do this in XLS I get an error message when I hit publish that only one geometry is allowed per table. Is there any way around this?

I am attempting to create a survey where the survey takers draw a polygon using the geoshape option, after the user enters their polygon, there is a note that references the area of the created polygon, and returns two different 'notes' depending on whether the polygon is bigger or smaller than a specific number. This has been working well for me in my collector app and it returns exactly what it should, but when I test the survey after publishing in a browser it always returns the same default (which happens to be the "false" of the "if" statement I'm using. (TotalArea is a hidden calculation of area(${GeoshapePolygon})). if(${TotalArea}>1000,'<font color="red">Area Is Too Big for Small Mine Permit,Change area or Request Different Application</font>','<font color="green">Mine Area is appropriate size for Small Mine Application</font>') I have tried adding a relevant question where the user has to select that they are done drawing the polygon before the "note" is shown, but I still get the same problem. Should I be using different code? Should I use a different type?
