I have a survey that is predominantly completed in a web browser. One of the questions requires free text, and I have set a character limit of 1000. Sadly, the text box does not expand when you enter text that exceeds the width of the text box on display. This makes it hard to read back over text that has been entered. Is this behaviour expected? Many thanks Josh

Is there any update to this? I have a survey embedded into Operations Dashboard, and the only way a user can submit another survey is by refreshing the web page, which is a bit clunky and unintuitive compared to a "submit another survey" button. Many thanks

I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there a way to execute the Report (Beta) function using Microsoft Flow? The scenario I have is that I'd like a report to be automatically generated when a survey is submitted. I have tried a method whereby a report is solely completed in Flow, but attachments from Survey123 cannot be carried across. I am now looking into remotely executing this function in Flow, and wondering if anyone has achieved this, or whether it is at all possible? Many thanks Josh

Hi Derek, To get around this, I used jr:choice-name(). In the XLSForm, I added a hidden field beneath the field that was displaying the name instead of the label. I was then able to reference this new, hidden field in Operations Dashboard, which now displays the label. The information regarding this functionality was picked up from here https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2018/12/02/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-xlsform-functions-for-lists Many thanks Josh

Hi James and John, I have gotten around the issue by using jr:choice-name(). In the XLSForm, I added a hidden field type beneath the field that was displaying the name and used jr:choice-name() here. I can then reference this new field in Operations Dashboard, and the label is also displayed when I view the feature class in ArcGIS Pro. I picked this functionality up from https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2018/12/02/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-xlsform-functions-for-lists Thanks both for you responses. Josh

I am struggling with this issue as well. In Operations Dashboard, only the name value is appearing, which serves as no use to the end user because the name value is not a direct copy of the label value. I have raised this question here (https://community.esri.com/message/814262-re-cascading-selects-from-survey123?commentID=814262#comment-814262) This also occurs when viewing the attribute table of the feature class in ArcGIS Pro, and subsequently when I export the table (whether just as .xlsx or when I export using Report (Beta) tool on the web. I appreciate that this isn't necessarily a bug or a technical issue, but the current method appears to have it's limitations.

Hi Derek, Thanks for getting back to me. I don't think renaming the name column to match the label column is possible in this instance, as there are thousands of choices, some of which have duplicated labels. This is why I have created a unique name (i.e. S145). Any other help is greatly appreciated. Josh

I have an operations dashboard which is being fed with data from Survey123. The survey contains lots of cascading selects. I am using a combination of "List" and "Details" widgets on Operations Dashboard. Rather than data appearing in these widgets as the "label" column from Survey123, it is displaying the "name" column. I have attached a screenshot below. S145 is the "name", and the "label" is "Aluminium" - this is what I need displayed. TIA!
