That worked, thanks. Summarized response from security team: In general we don't deserialize either trusted or untrusted data using Spring and we do not use spring to intercept requests. We only use spring for IOC. Spring doesn't consider this a bug and did not "fix" it anyway. The context for CVE-2016-1000027 was an intentionally unsafe implementation of the Spring Framework. The vendor rejects the premise of CVE-2016-1000027 as a vulnerability because it requires explicitly configuring an application to ignore the documented best practices for Spring and to intentionally write an app that accepts and deserializes untrusted data. Spring instead addressed this with documentation.

We currently have ArcGIS 10.9 deployed and the vulnerability CVE-2016-1000027 is showing up in our security scans. It looks like all Spring Framework versions prior to 6.x.x have this vulnerability. Do newer versions of Enterprise (11 or 11.1) use Spring 6.x.x, or is it still a 5.x.x version? If it still uses the 5.x.x version, is ArcGIS Enterprise actually affected by this vulnerability? Thanks.

Thanks. I currently have an 10.9 Enterprise instance installed using the 10.9 cloud builder. Can I use the cloud builder 10.9.1 tool to manage 10.9 instances, or do I need to upgrade?

Same, I ended up having to use a new account that didn't have MFA required. I never found any other fix.

Can I register Azure SQL Database with my ArcGIS Enterprise Base deployment? Right now, I have a 10.9 ArcGIS Enterprise Base deployment in Azure. In the cloud builder, the option to register a database is greyed out. Is the only option to create a federated GIS Server site and register the Azure SQL database with that? If so, does that also require an additional license on top of ArcGIS Enterprise Standard?

I get the following error when deploying ArcGIS Enterprise using the Azure 10.9 cloud builder: "PowerShell DSC resource ArcGIS_Portal failed to execute Set-TargetResource functionality with error message: The license file is invalid. The version 10.9.1 of the selected file is not supported at your software version 10.9.0." The license file I have for ArcGIS Server is for 10.9/10.9.1 and the Portal license file I have is for 10.9.1. It looks like ArcGIS Server deploys properly because I can access ArcGIS Server Manager, but I can't access ArcGIS Portal. Is the Azure 10.9 cloud builder not able to handle a 10.9.1 Portal license? If not, can I authorize Portal directly on the VM after install? I prefer to use the cloud builder, but it doesn't look like the Azure 10.9.1 cloud builder has been released yet. Thanks.

Hi, Using the Enterprise 10.9 Azure cloud builder, I'm unable to select Azure Active Directory Tenant after logging in. I am able to login successfully on the first page, but on the second page where a list of the tenants show up, when I click a tenant, I get a warning "Due to a configuration change made by your administrator, or because you moved to a new location, you must use multi-factor authentication to access {tenant id}". Is the cloud builder unable to handle login with multi-factor authentication? Thanks.

It's a .NET webforms page with some Telerik controls for AJAX requests. Other than that, just vanilla JavaScript. Do you know if it would help to load the script that initializes the map at the end of the body, instead of in the header? Other than that I'll just try listening for dom loaded events and initialize the map from there. Thanks.

I'm having an issue where the map is not rendering in my web app the first time I use it each day. Looking in the debug tools, I can see the MapView container property is null, and the width and height properties are 0. There are no errors in the console. Once I refresh the page, everything renders fine and the properties are set properly. I'm currently using 4.15. I'm thinking this may be related to either the dom not being fully loaded when the view is created, or some type of caching issue. I know with 3.x there were domReady modules that needed to be included in certain situations. Is the necessary in 4.x? Any ideas of what would be helpful. Thanks.

If I have a layer in ArcMap/Pro with a definition query applied to it and I publish as a hosted feature service, will that hosted feature service perform as well compared to if I exported the subset to another feature class and published? Even though the definition query is still applied in the hosted feature service, all the data is uploaded to AGOL, which I was thinking may have an impact on the speed that the service can process and return results from query or edit operations. Thanks.

I am wondering what are the options for updating a hosted feature layer in AGOL. For context, I will be hosting point layer with about 500 features that will be updated nightly from a scheduled task. The initial publishing of the layer does not need to be programmatic, but the nightly update does. I have been looking into using the REST API update/delete/create endpoints for doing these nightly updates. My question is, are there any other options for performing these updates outside the REST API? I see there is also a Python API and Native SDKs. Are those libraries using the REST API under the hood? Thanks.

Is there a limit to the number of requests that can be made to an ArcGIS Online hosted feature layer REST endpoint? Specifically, I'm referring to the 'Query' endpoint of the hosted feature layer, and am wondering if it can handle 100's of thousands, potentially 1 million+ requests per day, and if so, does that use additional credits in addition to the standard storage credits used for hosting the layers. Thanks.
