I have several WFS layers loaded into the map using ArcGIS Pro 2.5. This is one of the WFS URL: https://data.gov.au/geoserver/brimbank-stormwater-pits/wfs? Access to the shapefile of the dataset: https://data.gov.au/dataset/ds-dga-3f07bec5-99c2-491f-8d39-b6061891ebb1/details?q=brimbank When I run select layer by location between the WFS layer and the AOI attached, I get 0 count. However, when I run the same selection using the shapefile, I get 49 selected features. Here is another WFS layer: https://data.gov.au/geoserver/brimbank-stormwater-pipes/wfs Access to the shapefile of the dataset: https://data.gov.au/dataset/ds-dga-a920c6fd-2c34-4b66-adcc-101f49d5e8a8/details?q=brimbank Similarly, I am expecting 58 selected features, but only 34 features were selected from the WFS layer. I tried other tools such as Clip but I still get inconsistent results. I believe the issue is related to the 'Set the maximum features returned' property. The number selected features from the select by location increased when the max features value is increased. I need to perform this spatial query on WFS layers regularly. The source of the WFS and the size of the AOI may be different each time. Ultimately, I want to automate this workflow using arcpy. How can I get consistent results without having to play with the max features returned value?

I figured out the issue. The issue is due to the incorrect https configuration in the load balancer. I am able to load the WFS now that I have updated the domain.

I had the same "Fail to add data" error in ArcGIS Pro 2.5. The WFS is from a Geoserver which I had setup. I have configured https but still getting the same error. WFS https://geoserver.smarterdbyd.com/geoserver/topp/ows? This is the WMS https://geoserver.smarterdbyd.com/geoserver/topp/wms? I'm not sure how to troubleshoot as the error is too generic.

I have an ArcGIS Pro instance hosted in AWS, which is being used to run some arcpy scripts on a regular basis. I want to setup high availability by setting up a 2nd instance cloned from the 1st instance. Naturally, I would setup the two instances to connect to a license manager also hosted in AWS. I understand that concurrent use license is not supported in cloud environment until recently, as documented in this white paper https://downloads.esri.com/support/downloads/other_/arcgis_desktop_licensing_in_cloud_environments.pdf. In the document, it also explains that for named user license, a single user may login on up to 3 simultaneous devices. So, does it mean that I can setup HA by having both ArcGIS Pro instances login to the same name user in ArcGIS Online? This is good news as I won't have to maintain another machine to host the license manager. I wish to have the instances run for months without the need for human intervention. However, I am concern about ArcGIS Pro disconnected from ArcGIS Online. I know the common reasons this probably happened are; someone revoked the license or the password has changed. Are there other reasons that ArcGIS Pro will get disconnected from ArcGIS Online? For my use case, is named user license a valid alternative to concurrent use license?

The log is very useful. I found my mistake. Accidentally changed the value method. It is working now. Thanks a lot.

OK. I tried this with the cut polygon tool but I only get the sequence without the prefix. Table Name Field Name Value Method Value Info On Create Rule Weight Parcel PLOT_ID GENERATE_ID COUNTER TRUE 1 Parcel PLOT_ID EXPRESSION IIf([TYPE]="Business","B" & [PLOT_ID],IIf([TYPE]="Residential","R" & [PLOT_ID], [PLOT_ID])) TRUE 0

Unfortunately it is not subtyped. So, what if both IDs share the same sequence? For example the sequence is B1, B2, B3, R4, R5, R6. If I split R6, I'll get R7. Is that possible?

I have parcels with different landuse classes: Business, Residential, etc. I would like to generate a unique id when the parcel is being split. However, I need to generate a different id and counter depending on the landuse class. If Business, then generate B1, B2, B3, etc. If Residential, then generate R1, R2, R3, etc. This is my progress. Table Name Field Name Value Method Value Info On Create Parcel PLOT_ID GENERATE_ID COUNTER_B TRUE Parcel PLOT_ID GENERATE_ID COUNTER_R TRUE Parcel PLOT_ID EXPRESSION IIf([TYPE]="Business","B" & [PLOT_ID],"") TRUE Parcel PLOT_ID EXPRESSION IIf([TYPE]="Residential","R" & [PLOT_ID],"") TRUE I could not figure out how to trigger it. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a python script that creates a service draft, stage the service and uploads the service definition to a standalone ArcGIS Server. The script is executed as shell command from a node.js script in the same machine where ArcGIS Pro 2.4 is installed. The node.js is triggered by an AWS Lambda. What baffles me is that I get a 999999 error at arcpy.StageService_server when the script is run from node.js in the Production environment. But strangely, it works in the UAT environment. It also works just fine if it is run from the command prompt in the Production environment. I get the same error even if I change the target server. I have tried on 10.7.1 and 10.6.1. Both desktop and server machines are in the same VPC. The production machine is a clone of the UAT. There is only 1 administrator account in the Desktop machine. Could it be that the StageService require a write permission to a particular folder? Can someone provide insight into what the StageService is doing behind the scenes? Production environment: Desktop ArcGIS Pro 2.4 Node.js 8.11.2 AWS VPC Server ArcGIS Server 10.7.1
