I have had a similar issue when migrating from 4.7 to 4.8. My FeatureLayer services and MapImageServices are redirected to https in a localhost dev environment. To solve it what I have done is to add a fake domain to my hosts file on windows (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) , for example: 127.0.0.1 test-ieo.com Now my dev app is running on test-ieo.com:3000/ in addition to localhost:3000/. In the test-ieo.com url is working fine!! I hope this can be useful for someone... Jon

Thank you so much for your answer!! Probably we will have to go through a redesign.... Sincerely not clear yet. We have a very large list of arthropods distribution maps. Some of them will be public, and some others will be private... . And it's interesting for the final users to have them in separate services.... Thank you again KR Jon

Hello, A haven't clear if there is a final response to the question raised up in this topic. I'm on the need to publish more than 200 map services about animal species and it seems that I have reached a limit. I could checked that when I stop some of the services already published then I can continue publishing services.... I have checked as well the memory of the server and it's with only up to 5-15% of usage . Arcgis server 10.5 Window server 2008 R2 Enterprise memory 16.0 GB So . Is there any limit on the number of services that ArcGis server can manage? KR Jon

I have the same issue. An enterprise geodatabase (10.2) with some table views (MSSQLSEVER). The views were visible from 10.3 ArcMap version. The view are not visible any more from ArcMap 10.5. But they are accessible for instance from a MS Management studio.. Even more. When creating a new View from 10.5 the view is created ... but is not visible ... (I can see them from Management Studio)... Any idea....??

Hello, I have created an arcpy tool in 10.3 ArcGis version it works perfectly. When trying to open the tool a 10.2 version it throws an error like this: AttributeError: 'Parameter' object has no attribute 'filters' The error is in the last line of the forwarding code param1 = arcpy.Parameter( displayName='Selected vectors', name='vetorlist', datatype='GPValueTable', parameterType='Required', direction='Input') param1.columns = [['GPString','Vector']] param1.filters[0].type = 'ValueList' May be this kind of parameter it's only available from 10.3 on....? Thanks in advance..!!

Thanks for your comments. I've found out the problem.. the target folder I was typing down was a SDE.tabletarget , and the correct destinatino should be DBO.tabletarget.... That was the reason of the exception.. KR Jon

Hi Alberto, I haven't nay problem on looping through the "normal" layers of the TOC. Only with the ones are inside a group layer. The groupeLayer responses like normal layer, but inside there can be multiple layers and I can't access to them... Thanks for your response in any case... BR Jon

Hi, I'm attempting to access to a FeatureLayer in a GropuLayer. I'm looping through layers in the TOC and when getting the IGroupLayer I don't know what to do next. IMap myMap = ArcMap.Document.ActivatedView.FocusMap; for (int i = 0; i < myMap.LayerCount; i++) { if (myMap.Layer is IGroupLayer) { IGroupLayer igroup = myMap.Layer as IGroupLayer; //what to do... } }

After a lot of tests... I have realized that the code works well with a the geometric network imported in an sde geodatabase... I've noticed that in the filegeodatabase: - simplejunctionFeature.EID is always 0 - simplejunctionFeature.EdgeFeatureCount throws the explained exception - the original IFeature.hasOID property is false and and OID throws a exception as well. What's the reason of this? I need the code to work on a filedatabase!! Thanks in advance, Jon Complete code now: ISimpleJunctionFeature simplejunctionFeature = firstSelectedFeature as ISimpleJunctionFeature;
IEdgeFeature edgeFeature;
IRow row;
try
{
for (int i = 0; i < simplejunctionFeature.EdgeFeatureCount; i++)
{
edgeFeature = simplejunctionFeature.get_EdgeFeature(i);
row = (IRow)edgeFeature;
staticUtilities.writeToDockableWindowJon("EdgeFeature " + i + " has OID of: " + row.OID);
}
}
catch (Exception ex) {
staticUtilities.writeToDockableWindowJon(ex.ToString());
}
