I've seen that issue with another user of the script, not sure if they were able to get it working or not? cc Simon Allard I think it is related to the where clause of the script. Try changing: where_filter = '{"where":"CreationDate >= CURRENT_TIMESTAMP - INTERVAL \'1\' DAY"}' to: where_filter = '1=1' And see if you have any luck. Also check the utc_offset variable is correct for your timezone. If that works, you might need to play around with the where query at your feature server query page to see what works for your specific dataset (eg. https://....arcgis.com/.../ArcGIS/rest/services/.../FeatureServer/0/query ) This page helps to explain what the date query parameters should look like: Querying Feature Services: Date-Time Queries

Hi Michelle, if you are getting syntax errors with print() that would indicate you are using Python v2. My code is written for Python v3. Can you check which version you are using?

Hi team We have a number of Zebra TC75x devices for our field staff. They are Android OS with no SIM card, just GPS. They sync data when back in the office. The QC project they use has a continuous line collection which sort of functions as a GPS track log for them. We've had some reports of the batteries in these getting too hot to use - only during the line collection Do you know of any tips/tricks we could try to resolve this in our project? The issue may not be entirely related to QuickCapture but thought I would ask Cheers.

When embedding Localmaps apps, it would be nice if there was a special URL parameter available which minimised the interface a bit. I've attached an example where we'd like to embed a Localmaps app into a page on our council website. In this case the header itself is quite large, and you can't even read the title of the app. This is not a great experience for end users. If there was a way to add something like &ui=min to the end of the URL and thus change the header size/icon sizes/font size, that could be really useful! This sort of functionality already exists for ArcGIS Online 3D scenes which is a great feature. Cheers, John

Thanks John, appreciate the info. I agree and should look at recreating our projects in that case. All the best John

Morning Ismael Thanks for this, great to see these new features being released. Regarding the known issue with continuous point collection - we encountered this on a couple of our earlier projects and have now fixed it. Do you know if this will happen in any future releases - the JSON settings changing without our knowledge? Thanks John

This is a brilliant idea and I am sure it would be easy for them to implement. As a slightly wonky workaround for now, this is something that you could do: - Define a point geometry parameter in the dashboard - Add a "Share" link to a List dashboard item which contains some points with x,y fields populated - Craft the Share URL like so: https://<dashboard-url>?pt={list-item-x},{list-item-y} This way at least the staff can copy the "Share" link URL and it should open the dashboard at the chosen location.

Hi, firstly this is a great tutorial so thanks for sharing! I wanted to mention that for polyline features, I spent a bit of time "troubleshooting" trying to work out why my GPS track polyline wouldn't submit/finish upon button press. In the end it happened to be related to sitting at my desk while testing the project... polylines work best when outside. Interference with my phone GPS (I'm guessing). Good excuse to get out for a walk! Cheers.

In case you didn't get this resolved, some other quick fixes for hosted layers that I have had success with: - Clearing the browser cache (sometimes the issue is just on my end) - Rebuild the spatial index (under item description > settings > rebuild indexes) - Enable CDN / cache control if being publicly shared (under item description > settings > cache control) Cheers, John

Hi, is it possible to reorder content blocks in the new StoryMaps builder? I see that it's possible with a sidecar, but what about changing the order of paragraphs, images, etc? Cheers, John

Hi all, you might find this table widget useful if used in Operations Dashboard as Embedded Content: https://github.com/nzjs/ESRI-Feature-Service-Table-Widget It also supports filtering by current Dashboard selection (eg. a List object selection). Filtering by map extent is not possible for embedded content at this stage. If there is enough interest, it is likely possible to add the ability to export to csv/xlsx. Cheers, John

It would be useful if there was a way to pass a geometry/bbox variable from a dashboard Map Extent to an Embedded Content widget, dynamically. I want to be able to pan around an Operations Dashboard map object and have a third party website changing dynamically based on the map extent. Eg. something like //<thirdpartysite>/content?geom={bbox_from_map_extent} I know that I can do this already for other built in widgets, such as filtering a List by map extent, or filtering Embedded Content by a field in my List selection. So it seems the functionality is there, but not exposed for public use. My use case is something I've developed to show all feature layer attachments in a gallery view, but I'd like to take it a step further and make it dynamically filter by map extent. I think adding this feature would allow for some really interesting custom widgets to be developed by the community and used as Embedded Content.
