Thanks for the update. I'll look forward to trying it in the 4.17 release.

Thanks for your reply Kristian. I can reproduce the issue with a cluster just off Long Beach (33.721365°N, 118.131728°W). I've modified the sample to center on that point and init at the zoom level to show it.

Hello All, I'm using the "cluster" featureReduction in JSAPI 4.15 against a hosted featurelayer with ~750K points. I have a popup configured on the clustered layer using the cluster_count variable. This works fine in most of the cases, but there are a few examples where clicking on the cluster produces no popup - it's like the feature isn't there. I can't find a pattern to explain why some clusters respond to the click and others don't. Can someone please help me? Here's my sample code and you can view it live here (zoom out to view the clusters rather than the individual features). Thanks! --john

Hello All, I'm having problem getting Experience Builder 1.0 installed. Installed the node modules (using node v10.18.1). When I run "npm start" and go to https://localhost:3001, I get this from Chrome: "localhost normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to localhost this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be localhost, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged. You cannot visit localhost right now because the website sent scrambled credentials that Google Chrome cannot process. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later." I understand it's using a self-signed cert but this is new to me. I was able to run the beta version w/o issues on this Mac (version 10.15.3). Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks! --john

I'm testing Beta2 and it seems like modifications to a custom widget's config.json (e.g. client/your-extensions/widgets/mywidget/config.json) also require the widget to re removed and re-added in order to take effect. Does that sound right?

Hello, can anyone point me to an example of adding a tool to the map? For instance, I'd like to create a coordinates widget the reports out the position of the cursor. Ideally I'd incorporate it into the map widget alongside the Zoom, Home button, Locate button, etc. toggles but it could be a standalone widget that is dragged onto the map panel. In either case, it'll need to receive mouse move events from the map. Thanks! --john

Thanks, that does help but it'd be really nice to have an automatic reload. I tried a few permutations of browser-sync but couldn't get it working. Any suggestions?

Experience Builder looks great so far! I'm creating a custom widget under client/your-extensions/widgets/my-widget and have two node processes running: 1) cd server; node src/server 2) cd client; npm run start When I edit the widget in client/your-extensions/widgets/my-widget I can see process #2 pick up the changes and deploy to dist/widgets/my-widget. However the builder doesn't seem to recognize the update until I restart the server and re-add the widget. What is the recommended way to develop widget and be able to see your changes? Thanks!

answering my own question... It seems the solution is to add a line like the following to src/css/main.scss: @import "../widgets/Mywidget/styles/Mywidget"

Hello All, I've got a simple 4.x application that I've scaffolded out using the @arcgis/cli. I've created a custom widget using the "arcgis widget mywidget" command and it sets up directory structure for the widget like: widgets/Mywidget/styles/Mywidget.scss My problem is that I can't find out to get the scss file for the custom widget to be included in the build so the styles are picked up. Can anyone offer a suggestion? Thanks! --john

Hello All, I was following along with the custom Recenter widget example in the JSAPI docs and found that I had to make a few changes to get it to work. Being very much a newcomer to TypeScript, I was hoping someone could explain what I'm missing. I have a main.ts file into which I'm importing the custom widget: import { Recenter } from "app/Recenter"; Then in the Recenter.tsx, I had to change the export and add a dummy parameter to the constructor: @subclass("esri.widgets.Recenter")
export class Recenter extends declared(Widget) {
constructor(args:any) {
super();
this._onViewChange = this._onViewChange.bind(this)
} The above changes work, I'm just not clear why the sample required modification. Thanks! --john

Hello All, I'm using Developer Edition 2.11 and confused about the relationship between the widget positions specified in the config.json (under layouts) and the config.json at the top-level of a project. Both seem to give you the opportunity to position a specific widget but I'm having trouble understanding the circumstances under which the values are used from the respective files. Thanks for any help! --john
