@WernerGaar This went through several iterations, but I believe the first tool you ask about was Runscope. It was then migrated to a python script with custom http requests. We have since migrated these specific sets of services into ArcGIS Online and no longer require monitoring. If I were to do this again, I'd look to use the ArcGIS Python API.

Hello, I'm looking for a solution to this as well. I need to update editor tracking fields of a table in a hosted feature service without having to create a copy, download, update the editor tracking in a file GDB, and republish. Given the size of the feature service, this is a multi-day process and maintenance window. I've looked at the Pro and Online GUIs, Python API and the REST API (addToDefinition, updateDefinition) with no luck. I feel like I had done this before with REST API calls, but now any modifications I try to make to the editFieldsInfo object return a {"success": "true"} response but nothing changes on the table. Thanks, Jarrett

Unfortunately no, it's in development and still private. I did find a work-around to use the Default data view instead of creating my own. I think perhaps that's required because when you specify a trigger on the map, you can only choose a data layer from the map and not a data view configured in the app.

@TonghuiMing I am noticing the same behavior as originally described back in April. My filter widget appropriately filters my table and a text box linked up to display the number of filtered results, but the map still shows the unfiltered data view. Is it possible this update was reverted again with the ArcGIS Online release in June?

Kevin, I did submit an Esri case regarding this issue. They tied my case to an existing bug. Hi Bryan, I am using a 10.7.1 ArcGIS Server and was able to capture the web map parameter from my print request that does not have an imageData parameter. The resulting PDF does display the vector tile basemap along with the requested visible layers. My problem is using a custom GP print service that I publish. Any time my web map JSON parameter is sent to the print service, it contains the imageData parameter and does not display the basemap. By executing the task directly from the REST service endpoint, I insert my web map JSON from the successful test above but I still don't get a basemap back. For me, it seems isolated to a print service I publish while the out of the box service works fine. Below is a valid web map JSON I was able to POST through the service URL you provided in your original post. I get a basemap back. Did you ever get to a resolution? {

Matt, This is what I was looking for through the Pro project as I saw no way to change this property through the service properties after being published. I could only change the defaultOutputGeometryPrecision property which didn't seem to have an effect. I appreciate you sending this screenshot along! Thanks, Jarrett

Hi Michael, Yes, this is a common problem for all my NA responses, but just very prevalent along curves. You may be right in that it is not supported yet in ArcGIS Pro. Running the same NA test in ArcGIS Pro does have the correct geometry it seems that using the NA web service creates problems. Publishing of NA web services from ArcGIS Pro is very new, I think with version 2.4.2. Unfortunately, I am having trouble getting help from Esri on it though. Thanks, Jarrett

I am working to upgrade my network analyst web services to be published from ArcGIS Pro but am running into some issues with the output route geometry from the NA service. The output geometry is generalized and does not follow the geometry of the streets used as the input. I have taken the service properties from the same service published through ArcMap, which does align with my streets layer, and updated the service properties published from the ArcGIS Pro project to match. This does not resolve the issue. I thought that it might have to do with the Default Output Geometry Precision noted in the service properties here: Network analysis services—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise but that service property value is not specified. I am working with a standalone ArcGIS Server at 10.7. Please see the two screenshots below. The red line is the output from the NA service which does not align with my streets layer published from ArcGIS Pro where the service published from ArcMap does. Has any experienced anything similar? NA Service published from ArcGIS Pro NA Service published from ArcMap Thanks, Jarrett

Hi Ken, You can use the REST API Administrative directory to add and delete relationship classes. When adding or deleting, make sure to add or delete the relationship to both the origin and destination layers. I would advise against modifying existing relationship classes. I have broken hosted feature services by deleting and re-creating them with a different cardinality, from 1:M to 1:1. I'm thinking it is because the records in my destination were not already a 1:1. Modifying your hosted feature service from the REST admin is risky, but very fast and efficient when it works as expected. I recommend to always test first! I have not found a way to add a new layer to an existing hosted feature service. It is possible to preserve editor tracking if you need to overwrite a hosted feature service. I have done it with a few lines of python in ArcGIS Pro using the ArcGIS API for Python. After downloading a file geodatabase of your hosted feature service and symbolizing in ArcGIS Pro, follow the steps below. You'll want to modify the bolded parameters. First, you need to create the .sd file in ArcGIS Pro. aprx = arcpy.mp.ArcGISProject(r'location of your .aprx file') m = aprx.listMaps('the name of your map in ArcGIS Pro')[0] print('creating sd draft') arcpy.mp.CreateWebLayerSDDraft(m, r'C:\Projects\myServiceName.sddraft', 'myServiceName') print('staging service') arcpy.StageService_server(r'C:\Projects\myServiceName.sddraft', r'C:\Projects\myServiceName.sd') print('complete') Second, you need to add the .sd item you created to ArcGIS Online. Third, you need to publish the .sd item in ArcGIS Pro. from arcgis.gis import GIS gis = GIS('pro') #Parameters for editor tracking print('starting') pub_params = {'editorTrackingInfo' : {'enableEditorTracking':True, 'preserveEditUsersAndTimestamps':True}} print('finding item') sd_item = gis.content.get('the item id of your .sd file in ArcGIS Online') print('publishing') sd_item.publish(publish_parameters = pub_params, overwrite = True) print('complete') Fourth, you need to modify and check the capabilities of your service. You will have to enable editing and other parameters as needed. It should be possible to control these in the pub_params parameter if you wanted to streamline it. It is a bit cumbersome, but if your business requirements rely heavily on editor tracking, I have found this to be very useful! Jarrett

I have published a hosted feature service to ArcGIS Online and need to re-order fields and their view/edit capabilities in my web map. I've added this web map to a Web AppBuilder where our users will be editing using the Edit widget. When I add this widget to my app, it does not respect the field order and capabilities set in the web map, but I am 99% sure it used to. I've tried this with different feature services, web maps, apps, browsers and cleared browser caches. The Smart Editor widget respects the field order and view/edit capabilities of the web map. What happened with the Edit widget? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Jarrett

I'm using an automated tool to verify my secure services are running and to email me if it get anything but an http 200 status code. The redirection to the login page throws a 302 status code. After generating the token and appending to my secure services, half of my services would return a 200 and half would return a 302. I found no pattern in hours of testing this. I had added client=requestip at the end of my query string. I used your method and it seems to work 100% of the time. So bizarre, but thank you for the solution!

We are having issues syncing back to our AGS, but not because it can't find the replica. We are using versioned data and I can only find documentation on managing the verisons, not the replicas. We have multiple replicas per user and wondering if anyone has guidance on any back-end management of these.
