Thanks, Andrew. The computer aided dispatch and record management systems for the county are integrated. Incident data comes from the shared files. We (GIS Department) extract the records from central dispatch at several points throughout the day, run them through a pre-process, geocode and post-process to generate mapped incident points.

We are presently developing a custom web mapping application for the public to view criminal incidents within our county. In our efforts, we have created several hundred icons in varying colors to display as map points. I'm not certain where a better spot to offer these to the public would be. If anyone is aware of a better repository, please let me know. Included in the attached .zip are icons covering over 100 incident types in eight different colors. I've also included the Photoshop files in the event your organization needs to create other icons for specific incident types. We use the colors to differentiate responding agencies. I hope these are of use to others. You can see these icons at work on our incident mapping site. http://gis.co.ottawa.mi.us/ottawa/publicincidentsmapping/

You'll have to forgive my inexperience here, both with the forums and ESRI products in general. I am hoping this post lands in the correct forum. That said... Working with the Silverlight API, I am utilizing two specific layers I've displayed below as test code. I have a 'basemap' layer and an 'overlay' layer. The later I plan on allowing for a dynamic transparency through a control targeting the opacity property. When I set up the layers in the simple XAML example as listed below, I notice in Fiddler both the basemap and the overlay layer get their json, but tiles for the later declared are not returned. <esri:Map x:Name="MyMap" SnapToLevels="True" Background="White" Extent="12589861.5047889, 452193.576650939, 12776710.8368209, 634919.636547503" >
<esri:ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer ID="layerBase" Url="http://www.gis.co.ottawa.mi.us/GISWEB/rest/services/BaseLayerGrey/MapServer" />
<esri:ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer ID="layerHillshade" Opacity=".50" Url="http://www.gis.co.ottawa.mi.us/GISWEB/rest/services/SL_HillShade/MapServer"/>
</esri:Map> When I reverse the order of the layers in the XAML (overlay first) I notice the basemap makes the json call, but returns no tiles. <esri:Map x:Name="MyMap" SnapToLevels="True" Background="White" Extent="12589861.5047889, 452193.576650939, 12776710.8368209, 634919.636547503" >
<esri:ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer ID="layerHillshade" Opacity=".50" Url="http://www.gis.co.ottawa.mi.us/GISWEB/rest/services/SL_HillShade/MapServer"/>
<esri:ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer ID="layerBase" Url="http://www.gis.co.ottawa.mi.us/GISWEB/rest/services/BaseLayerGrey/MapServer" />
</esri:Map> Both layers will work properly independently of the other, but fail to display properly when combined. I was curious how I should debug this further or if there is just a simple answer to this. Thanks to all that respond in advance.

Good morning all, I am using the silverlight printing sample from code gallery (http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html...4358d0458f66e3). The issue we are experiencing stems from a specific layer that seems to be generating a bug within the cloned map on the print dialog. The offending layer is of annotations for parcel dimensions that, when present in the map layers, leaves the cloned map blank/grey. When I comment out this layer in the XAML, everything works as expected. The service will only display the layer when at an extent less than 1:2000, and while it is a cached layer, I am working with the layer on our ArcGIS Server, so I have it coded as a Dynamic Layer. The bug occurs either way. I have attempted to debug this within the print sample solution to no avail. I have also been unable to find information posted already referencing this excellent discussion. Here is some test code I am working with. The offending layer in the XAML is "layerDimensions". If anyone has suggestions, they are greatly appreciated. XAML <UserControl x:Class="TestPrinting.MainPage"
