Some free training on the horizon

Blog Post created by jhine-esristaff Employee on Apr 26, 2018

Just a quick post to mention a couple opportunities for free training:

  1.  The Introduction to GIS for Developers course over at Pluralsight.com will be free for the taking the week of 5/16-22. This course is geared for developers and computer science students unfamiliar with GIS, but I think GIS Professionals curious about ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4 might also find it interesting.

  2. The ArcGIS Web AppBuilder Developer Edition short video series from last year (see this and this) is moving forward again! The series began with an overview of WAB Developer Edition (20min, free with maintenance), and a how-to on using custom widgets built by the user community (6min, free with maintenance). The next short video in the series will provide a guided tour of what custom widgets are made of (no snails or puppy-dog tails, I promise) -- it should serve as a useful orientation and reference for how-to topics we plan to cover in later videos.
