Hi Michael, Try adding a Process counter instead for the services you want to monitor, such as ArcGISServer or ArcGISPortal. Maybe the subdomain is preventing the WinService extension script from accessing it. Hope it helps, John

Hi Naveen, Yes, hosted services requests can be captured by the IIS log that are not recorded in the ArcGIS Server FINE log mode. I suggest adding the System Log Parser for IIS extension in ArcGIS Monitor to view stats/usage for hosted services. Best Regards, John

Hi Diane, Check the token url such as (https://serverhost.domain.com:6443/arcgis/tokens/generateToken) works in a browser and can successfully generate a token. There should be no need to manually edit/update the token config (JSON). If the token is generated, it should allow System Log Parser to access the logs. Also check the ArcGIS Server url such as (https://serverhost.domain.com:6443/arcgis) is accessible from the machine running System Log Parser using the ArcGIS Server admin credentials. Hope it helps. If you need more assistance with System Log Parser, Esri Professional Services offers consulting support. Best Regards, John

Hi Michael, Check that the target system can be monitored with the standard System counter type in ArcGIS Monitor before adding this extension. You might need to set Windows permissions to allow monitoring. The error above happens when the target system cannot be accessed to find the Services. Hope it helps, John

Hi David, In the EgdbSQL_Readme, the troubleshooting section suggests to add a line to your connection string (located in C:\ArcGIS Monitor\Administrator\resources\app\bin\EgdbSQL\sqlserver) about the CLR Type, for example: ;Type System Version=SQL Server 2017 Hope it helps. Hi Matt, In ArcGIS Monitor 10.7, we added alert options for started or stopped state of a service. When the service is set to running, value is 1. When the service's state is stopped, value is 0. To set an alert for a stopped service named Portland10 for example, you would set: Best Regards, John

Hi Kirk, Yes, make sure port 6443 is open for monitoring ArcGIS servers. Port 22 is the default SSH port on Linux. Please check your /etc/ssh/sshd_config that port 22 is being used, then that port will need to be open to connect to your server via SSH. Hi Angelo, The portal logs record specific events and errors depending on the log level (Severe, Warning, Info, Fine, Verbose, Debug). Refer to the following portal documentation on what events/info can be recorded: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/about-portal-logs.htm https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/work-with-portal-logs.htm In ArcGIS Monitor, Portal reports are designed to summaries of the content type counts, user types, and groups. Reports also show Log-Warnings, and Log-Severe entries to monitor the health and availability of the portal. It is not designed as an auditing tool for portal content, but maybe some additional log reporting could be added in the future. Best Regards, John

Hi Alberto, The xlsxwriter used to write_url to a cell in Excel returns this error when the Url is longer than the Excel limit of 255 characters. A solution would be to use a shorter url. A url (String) longer than the Excel limit of 255 characters would need to be somehow split or truncated to fit in the Excel limit to prevent this error. Hi Michael, Check if you have RDS or ELB inside Amazon. Lack of access might be the reason for this error. Refer to the Amazon documentation on Authentication and Access Control - Amazon Relational Database Service or https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticloadbalancing/latest/userguide/load-balancer-authentication-access-control.html for more info. Hope it helps, John

Hi Ravi, If the Web Adaptor for IIS was installed on myArcGISServer01, IIS is running there and should have a log folder \\myArcGISServer01\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1 If the Web Adaptor for IIS was also installed on myArcGISServer02, IIS is also running there and should have a log folder \\myArcGISServer02\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1 After you find the folder, make it a Shared folder in Windows so the other machine running ArcGIS Monitor can access it from \\myArcGISServer01\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1 Hope it helps, John
