Unfortunately I did not and had to manually re-create all the anno as graphics. Sorry to hear this is still an issue almost 2 years later.

Still a problem years later in 2023 at 2.9.5. Good grief. I was able to work around by exporting the features to be copied to a temporary fc and then they would copy.

Glad to hear this is on the table, but the resolution of this issue should not necessarily require any additional tiles and especially should *NOT* change the content of the map. It simply needs to match the resolution of the output (PDF, JPG, etc) to what is displayed in the application.

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm getting the error when attempting to connect to certain ESRI and USGS from ESRI apps on a Citrix environment.

Given that this looks to be part of the permanent rolling stock on the ESRI failtrain, has anyone worked out a solution to this that isn't more complicated than simply converting my 200 data-driven page map to a non-ESRI application? Still a problem at 10.8 over a decade later. In my case, I couldn't get Extract Values to Points to work either, it would also only produce null values. Luckily I was able to successfully run the tools in Pro.

Thanks, in this case I have feature class anno that was created in Pro and would like to convert it to a graphics layer. This can be done in ArcMap.

Is it possible to convert/transfer feature class anno into map graphics text? In ArcMap annotation could be copied into a map anno layer.

We have an ArcGIS Online Organization account that has content from another Organization shared to us. This includes a number of feature services and webmaps. When this was initially set up, we were able to access all of the shared content through ArcGIS Pro for a few weeks, then the access 'broke'. ArcGIS Pro maps that had the online content saved would now show broken links ('!'). We are able to view the shared content in the Catalog window, but are unable to add it to maps. Attempting to add a feature service layer results in a "Failed to add data: <service URL>" message. Attempting to add a webmap results in an empty map. Connecting to the feature services' rest interface shows "Token Required" (this may be normal, but adding for extra info). I've tried re-logging into the AGOL account, restarting Pro, testing on other machines, but no joy. We asked the other Organization to look into this to see if they could address it but they are unable to to determine what might be causing this. Anyone got any ideas?

I would say it's more related to the rendering capability of Pro/ArcMap when trying to handle projections and maybe scale...this rendering issue does not seem to be platform specific." Agree, and this remains an issue in 2021 for both apps. Setting the map projection to the basemap's native scale and maximizing output resolution do help sometimes, at the cost of a bloated output file that requires post-processing in 3rd party apps to reduce the bloat without dunking the quality. Almost every time I attempt to use ESRI World Topo, end user: 'can we make the background less blurry?'

This does not allow change of the reference scale for <Default> group, which is what is needed.

I'm working with some old MXD files that were imported from ArcView 3.2 and so have a reference scale applied to the default annotation group. There is a way to reset this via VBS, but that is not an option for me. How else can I reset this?
