Update, I fixed this by manually assigning the Coordinate System to current map when using the Create Feature Class tool. By default, no Coordinate System is assigned. Some of my colleagues have had the same issue, so I hope this helps others!

Hi all, It was unique to my profile. After significant testing, no solution was found. It is not possible for me to re-create my profile at this time. I'm bummed, I liked using Chart Frames! Have to go back to using copy and paste in from Excel. Hope this helps, Jessie

Hi Tom, Thank you for the quick response, I appreciate it. I have confirmed that this is also an issue on 2 of my colleague's computer's who have also updated to 2.3.1, and not on my colleague's computer running an older version of Pro. I admit it could be unrelated, as that is not an extensive check. I also have confirmed this issue is limited to Chart Frames. Table Frames add to the layout okay. Our current workaround is making the chart in Excel, which is similar to your workaround. Both require extra steps when the data is updated and do not look as good, so hoping to get this resolved soon. I have submitted a request to my organization for permission to open a case. Kind regards, Jessie

Hi all, After installing the latest patch, my ArcPro has lost the ability to load any Chart Frames in a Layout. This applies to adding a Chart Frame for the first time, and loading Chart Frames in existing projects layouts. It will load for over an hour, so I do not think more time would help. The Chart Frame will just never load or Pro will crash. I have tried this across new and old layouts, with multiple different table sources. No luck. I believe I have it narrowed down to the latest update. My colleague on 2.3.1 has the same issue. My other colleague on 2.0 does not have this problem. Note creating charts has no problem. It is only when adding the frame to the layout when it freezes/will not load. Things I have tried to troubleshoot: Uninstalled update patch 2.3.1 (now running 2.3). However, even projects made initially (before I updated) and recently (after uninstalling) at 2.3 still will not work. I have slow internet, so I put my computer on airplane mode to disconnect from any wifi. Uninstalled all Windows updates that had installed after my last successful Chart Frame (last week). Any help is greatly appreciated. Jessie

Hi all, I just had this happen to me with 2.3. I was using 2.3 the whole time, and that is the most updated Pro version. Very sad. I think Pro might have crashed while running the mosaic rasters function. Has anybody found a workaround to at least rescuing the layouts in the file? This was a complicated layout I lost, and I am really hoping to save at least some of it! Thanks for the help, Jessie

There is nothing in my default settings (see screenshot below). This is what I see when I open up the tool, I have not changed anything. Are there supposed to be values here by default? Thank you for your help, Jessie

When I create a new feature in a newly created feature class in ArcPro, the vertices always move away from where I placed them. Points move to another location, and polygons remove some vertices. If the polygon is too small, it disappears altogether. I suspect that the default tolerance and resolution in the ArcPro Create Feature Class tool are too low. I did not use to have this problem in ArcPro. It might have started to occur after I installed a patch. I am currently running 2.2.4. Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my own default settings or program? I have tried to change the settings manually when creating a feature class, but have not been able to find what all the default settings should be, and have run into problems. Examples of my issues creating vertices are below. Points example: I tried to create a point (red star) by clicking on top of the green dot (labeled Other), it moved it into the nearby road. Polygon example: I traced the lake on this basemap, and when the new polygon (in purple) was finalized, it removed vertices making a very jagged polygon. So far my only workaround is to copy and paste an existing feature class, delete all features, and start from there. Please help! Thank you, Jessie

I work for a humanitarian organization, which means we often use OCHA's humanitarian icons on our maps. The icons are available in a styles files: ocha-humanitarian-icons-for-gis/02_arcgis_styles at master · mapaction/ocha-humanitarian-icons-for-gis · GitHub . Since switching to Pro (about a year ago), we have had multiple issues that we hope to resolve to save much needed time. 1. We have to manually import the styles into every new ProProject. We have installed the Windows font (using ttf files), and put the style files in the Pro styles folder. When we import a new style file to a Project, it then creates a stylex file in the location of the Pro project. It would be best if we could have one version of the stylex in one location. We have tried to put those stylex files into the Styles Pro folder (under program files) and used that to import. But it does not seem to work. Is there a way in Pro to add a style to favorites so it shows by default in a new project and does not create all these extra files? 2. The other issue we have encountered is that when we open up old mxds or even old ProProjects the OCHA icons sometimes simply do not work. Instead, random icons are displayed (such as a gender symbol or even a snowman). To fix this, we have to click on each icon and reset them (icon, colour, size, etc). Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I found this example and made it even simpler. FC equals your feature class, fieldList equals what fields you want to keep. My code is below. #Define function to take an input layer and output a layer with only a defined field list def filter_fields(FC, fieldList): # List input fields fields= arcpy.ListFields(FC) # Create a fieldinfo objects fieldinfo = arcpy.FieldInfo() # Iterate over input fields, add them to the FieldInfo and hide them if # they aren't in the list of fields to be kept for field in fields: if not field.name in fieldList: fieldinfo.addField(field.name, field.name, "HIDDEN", "") # Copy features to a layer using the FieldInfo temp = "temp" arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer_management(FC, temp, "", "", fieldinfo) #Call the function outFeature= "admin3_AllJoined" filter_fields(outFeature,["Admin3_admin1Name","Admin3_admin3Name","Education_Table_Education_Percent","Education_Table_Education","Food_Table_Food_Percent","Food_Table_Food_Fraction","Healthcare_Table_Healthcare_Percent","Healthcare_Table_Healthcare_Fraction","Hygiene_Table_Hygiene_Percent","Hygiene_Table_Hygiene_Fraction","NFI_Table_NFI_Percent","NFI_Table_NFI_Fraction","Nutrition_Table_Nutrition_Percent","Nutrition_Table_Nutrition_Fraction","Protection_Table_Protection_Percent","Protection_Table_Protection_Fraction","Shelter_Table_Shelter_Percent","Shelter_Table_Shelter_Fraction","Water_Table_count","Water_Table_Water_Percent","Water_Table_Water_Fraction"]) #arcpy.CopyFeatures_management(layerName,outFeature) arcpy.CopyFeatures_management("temp",outFeature2)
