The screenshot is what I observe but there's a lock (account connecting in) on the feature class, even though the privileges aren't visible. I am able to grant some privileges and they show after closing and reopening ArcCatalog.

Thank you, we apply all of the permissions through ArcCatalog but create the relevant privileges from DB end, could that be the issue?

Hi, I have a geodatabase on SQL server that has users and accounts connecting in but when I right click on a feature class go to Manage>Privileges, the permissions are not visible. Will the permissions be there but not visible or is there something in Management Studio that will be allowing the connections in?

We have 18 floating licences on a licence server, it would be easier if you can use active directory to allow users access to the licences, do you know if its possible?

Hi, for example, I have a mxd for polling stations, i have one shapefile but have the data added a 10 times to show different symbology but rather than reset the data source individually, it would be easier for you to select the shapefiles and reset the data source in one go.

Sometimes you have a large number of shapefiles that you need reset the data sources for. It would be a good idea if you can select all of the shapefiles that need resetting and reset the data source in one go rather than individually.

Hi, I have a single ArcReader user who is unable to access any layers within a project that is connected to the database. We use Active Directory to give users permissions, one group we have is specifically for ArcReader users, I have checked and the user is in the group. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ArcReader and I am still having issues. I have got a colleague to test on his PC which worked and then I got him to try on another PC and he still is unable to access any shapefiles. We use a 9.1 ArcSDE, I have installed ArcReader 10.2 and I have run an SQL Native Client onto the machine. Does anyone have any suggestions?
