No I am not using Pro. I’m using arcmap. I could help you (maybe) if you were in arcmap. Jennifer Andrews GIS Analyst Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation 870.336.4416

No I do not have a .dwg. All I have are printouts. But I figured out to do COGO and it seems to take care of my needs for this project. Thanks for getting back with me. Jennifer Andrews GIS Analyst Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation 870.336.4416

I have a huge stack of CAD drawings of easements that I would like to put on our map as a layer. What is the best way for me to go about getting these on the map? I am inexperienced with COGO and the Parcel Editor. This is one of many... Thank you, Jenn

Is anyone having issues getting their PDF maps to open in Adobe? I have several maps that I've exported over the last 6 months that open just fine. I changed computers and now when I export a map, it will not open in Adobe.

Are talking about right clicking in the white space in the catalog? If so, I get nothing. Jennifer Andrews GIS Analyst Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation 870.336.4416

I am using ArcGIS 10.3 and I have installed the X-Ray add in. It was installed successfully but I don't know how to run it. I cannot find Customize>Extensions in the Catalog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using ArcMap 10.3. Is there a way to make a straight polyline zigzag? There are some line options in the Symbol Selector but nothing that is zigzag. These are a few of the options. This is how I want my lines to be represented...is it even possible?

For some reason, part of my lines were doubled and even tripled in some areas…several lines laying on top of one another. I have no idea how this happened. So I was splitting one line but being shown another. Very strange. Weird things happen when you use third party software with ArcMap. Thanks for getting back with me. The original line was one long line, several of miles of transmission line. I split the line to equal parts…7 to be exact. In the bottom image, I only selected what should have been the first segment but it selects the entire line like it didn’t split them. But if I ctrl click where each segment should be, my attribute table shows 7 segments. Even thought the entire line highlights as a selection, the attribute table does not show 7 segments. In ArcMap 10.3, when I split a polyline manually, I can see that the line is split when I highlight that part of the line. But when I do a split at a specified distance, the line still appears as one single line and I cannot tell where the breaks in the line are although I can select each segment individually. In the image below, I simply selected what should be the first segment but the whole line lights up as selected. Why isn't the bottom image showing each segment like the first image where I manually split the line? Thanks everyone!

Yes sir I tried several combinations. Each one changed the lines somewhat but not enough. It’s a bit odd. If I copy and paste that line into a new shapefile, the line breaks at the elbow. But if I make a new shapefile and trace the exact same line, it remains connected at the elbow. So that’s what I’m doing. I’m going back and manually drawing in the lines at the elbows. Thank you so much for replying. Jennifer Andrews GIS Analyst Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation 870-336-4416

I tried changing the line to Square and Miter. It helped some on the curve but not in other areas. An improvement here Not so much here
