I had similar problem but resolved with ESRI support's help. I was upgrading my Portal for ArcGIS Server from 10.4 to 10.5 and getting this error when configuring the Web Adaptor for the Portal. Since my Portal for ArcGIS Server is integrated with the Active Directory, I used a domain account which has the Portal admin privilege to complete the Web Adaptor configuration. Afterward, I changed the password of the initial portal administrator account (not domain account) and subsequently was able to configure the Web Adaptor with no error. It is possible that the password I used was incorrect.

Hi, I installed LocalLayer 2.0 and try the WAB 2.0 and WAB 2.1. I get this "create widget error: widgets/Coordinate/Widget" error when I switch among different themes. If I remove the LocalLayer widget configuration from the config.json of the default layout of each theme, then this error does not occur. Not sure if the problem is caused by the layers I added into the LocalLayer configuration. Appreciate if anyone could help debugging.

Sterling & Steve, A few questions which I hope you can help clarifying. 1. Using Steve's configuration, is it correct to expect that when a map service, MS1, is published on Server1, the map service is known to Server2 't without been published on Server2? 2. If I have map service MS1 published on Server1 and map service MS2 published on Server2, when I display the REST service directory of either server, both MS1 and MS2 are displayed? Thanks,

Thanks for pointing out the area where the problem might be. I went back and double checked the web.config file and found a typo. Fixed the typo and the web part appears in the web page as designed.

Followed the online help for MapIt 1.1.1, I installed MapIt on a machine with Windows 2003 and Sharpoint 3.0. I added successfully the ESRI Map Web Part to a new page. However, the default ArcGIS Online base map was not displayed (please see the attached ArcGISMapWebPart.jpg). I don't see the three buttons for base map selection and the default Street map is not displayed as the online help indicates. Question 1: Is this expected or I have missed something in the configuration steps? I right-click the icon at the upper-right corner, and a pop-up menu appears showing the options of "Silverlight" and "Install ArcGIS Mapping for SharePoint on this computer". I clicked the "Install ArcGIS Mapping for SharePoint..." and a pop-up windows appears showing the Street map, the "Global" icon for base map configuration, and navigation tool. I can change the base map using the base map configuration dialog. Question 2: Is this normal that the ArcGIS Map web part is displayed as a desktop windows instead of embedded in a web page? Thanks,

I have done something like this by adding another InfoWindow as child to the map such as this: private var anotherInfoWindow: InfoWindow; // substantiate the infowindow anotherInfoWindow : InfoWindow = new InfowWindow (map); // add the infowindow to the map as a child map.addChild(anotherInfoWindow); // add handler to handle closing of the infowindow anotherInfoWindow.addEventListener(Event.CLOSE, anotherInfoWindowCloseEventHandler);
