I am looking for an existing workflow, guide, checklist, etc to serve as an aid when creating a web app. I have a rough idea in my head, but I wanted to see if there was something already built. I want to use something like the below general workflow, but with a LOT more detail and some instructions along the way. I want to leave the "configure web app" part generic, because this will apply to Web AppBuilder, a Dashboard, or any of the web app templates. General Workflow: Receive requirement Refine requirement Design the schema Create the feature class in ArcGIS Pro Test the feature class Publish as a web layer Configure the web layer Create a web map Add the layer to the web map Add additional datasets Create the web app Configure the web app Test the web app Get feedback from requester Make final changes Deliver the web app Continual Process Improvement Thank you for any help you have to point me in the right direction.

What is the solution if we do NOT want a time offset to local time? We want to enter time attributes using the UTC time, and have it display the same UTC time for all users, worldwide. Thank you.

I would modify this to add not only USNG, but also MGRS or any other locator that is configured for your app.

I have a large dataset of polygons and need to identify the overlaps for two purposes: 1) To create a display similar to a hot spot or density (shows the highest concentrations of polygon coverage). 2) For use in spatial joins with point features in order to answer questions such as: this point was intersected by ## polygons. The first method I found was to run a Union, then a Dissolve. The problem is that this method takes a LONG time to run, and can actually run out of RAM, even with my 64GB system. Does anyone have a better methodology? Thanks for the advice!

I have two large datasets: points and polygons. Both have a date field, and a date range of about 6 weeks. I need to find which points have an intersecting polygon with a date of +/– 3 days. I then need the point feature class’ attribute calculated to add a “Y” (for future charting purposes). Doing this without the +-3 days part was easy (Select by Location, Calculate Field). Doing this manually was not hard either (Select by Attribute then make a point layer for day 1, Select by Attribute then make a polygon layer for the +/-3 days, Select by Location, Calculate Field). Since I have 45 unique days to test, I would rather make a model or a script to automate this process. I know how to create models, and have some Python knowledge, but I have no idea how to create a model with a query and iterator for the +-3 days part (or how to write in a Python script). Anyone have an idea? Thanks for the advice!

Still need help with this. What is the syntax for using a date in the SQL query for the “Select By Attribute” tool?

This is an absolute necessity for our operations. It would save a TON of time when we identify multiple instances of the same object on a web map, with the only difference being the coordinate.

This would be HUGE for our operations. I have been looking for this functionality for years. I would need to ensure that the selected features could be copied to any of the following: - A new layer - An existing layer - The same layer

Thank you!!! I had the same issue happen to me (using Portal 10.5.1), and after removing the WMS layers the Group FIlter now works! Obviously this is a bug, but at least now my Group Filter works again.

I have two datasets, both with a Date field. For brevity sake, let's call them "Master_FL" and "New_Features". In model builder, I want to Select by Attribute from the "Master_FL" using a query of 'On or After', with the variable being the earliest date from "New_Features" layer. How do I do this in ArcGIS Pro 2.2? Thank you for the assistance.

I created an ArcGIS Pro project loaded with several vector datasets, all stored in a single geodatabase, and saved on a shared drive. I created a folder connection using the full UNC path to the geodatabase, and created a connection to the actual geodatabase. In Catalog, I selected "Add to Favorites" and "Add to New Projects." All of the vector layers use the full UNC path as the data source. I then saved this project as a template. When I create a new project from this template, all of my layers are broken, and the Data Source is changed to the newly created database for this new project. How can I enable the template to use the original Data Source for the layers? new template custom templates template issues
