I'm evaluating this option and comparing it to some of the other market options available for converting video to FMV. We have a lot of older video with corresponding gpx files from a basic handheld unit. The gpx files contain most the basic metadata (i.e. lat, long, bearing, time stamp, altitude, etc) but is lacking much of the other senor data like pitch, roll, any of the field of view metadata (i.e. frame coordinates). I understand that with this metadata I don't have the required info to utilize the tools ability to calculate the field of view for display in ArcMap but simply showing the aircraft track would be a nice. What is the bare minimum metadata this tool requires in order to produce a FMV capable of just showing the aircraft track?

Hello, I posted this question a couple weeks ago in the general form and haven't received any replies so I thought I would repost to a more specific audience, I would appreciate any help I can get. I made a very simple model in Model Builder to write some basic summary statistics to an excel file that can be downloaded via a web application (see attached flow chart). The model runs fine as either a model or an exported python script. I published this model as a GP service because I would like to connect it to a geoprocessing widget that runs the model and automatically downloads the spreadsheet with a click of a button rather than it's current two step process (e.g. run script then click hyperlink in app for download). Everytime I run the GP service it completes "successfully" without actually doing anything. See results log below. All read/write locations are (1) referenced by UNC path and (2) are registered data stores with the GIS Server. I realize that I can simply run the script on a task scheduler to keep the spreadsheet current and will if need be but I'd like to figure out why this isn't working and offer users the ability to access the latest and greatest on demand. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers, James Kellough

Thanks Carol. My apologies, I should have posted this earlier, I realized my operations view was using a third party add in which I understand is not currently supported in browser views at this time. After saving a copy of my view with this add in removed it worked fine in my browser tests. Cheers, James

I'm trying create a Single display operation view that can be opened in a browser and I keep getting the following error in all browsers I test: Operations Dashboard Error Ember.Object.create only accepts objects. 1c6b11e25bab41b992a3186742b4b80f I have tried numerous views with and without widgets, with and without feature services - both editable and non-editable, with and without cached services. All views are shared with everyone in my organization, I've copy and pasted the share link from the Windows application as well as emailed the share links from the windows application and none of it works. Out of perhaps 100 attempts to run my various views in a browser I was once able to view one in Firefox 28 but upon closing the browser and trying to reopen the view in the same browser it again failed. Has anyone else experienced this issues? At this point I don't know what else to change or test. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Environment settings Windows 7 Professional 64x Service Pack 1 Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS Product Version 10.2.3.536 Browsers Tested Chrome Version 34.0.1847.137 m Firefox 28 Firefox 29.0.1

Hi folks, I am new to the arcpy module at version 10. I have a number of mxd's with the same theme that will ultimately have either the same or very similar document properties. To save time typing, I want to write and run a script from the python window to automatically populate each mxd's document properties. This was pretty easy up until I wanted to populate the Title property with the mxd's name. After searching the forums and other online sources it seems the best way to do this is by parsing the filename out of the file path. I found some code samples to help me do this but can't get them to work (see highlighted code below) any help a more proficient python scripter can provide would be greatly appreciated. Here is my code. I am having trouble making the highlighted code work; if I remove it from the script all else works just fine. import os mxd = arcpy.mapping.MapDocument("CURRENT") P = mxd.filePath P.split('/')[-1] mxd.title = P mxd.summary = "blah, blah, blah." mxd.author = "James Kellough" mxd.credits = "My Company" mxd.description = "blah, blah, blah" mxd.tags = "Script, Python, Arcpy" del mxd Thanks kindly, James Kellough
