Profile 1 credit per 1,000 input features If there are 10 input lines, the cost will be 0.01 credits Well, my initial positive experience with ArcGIS Pro just turfed out... Credits to run tools?? Seriously?

I am attempting to open the Profile tool in 2.2.1, but the tool does not open and I get the following error: I have tried repairing the installation, but there was no change. Anyone know what is going on? Difficult to evaluate software that doesn't work.

Has anyone had any resolution to this? It just started happening to me - I click 'add' and the ArcGIS Online window closes, but nothing is added... I am logged in and connected.

It does create a layer for the hillshade, but it isn't like a normal raster. Looking at the layer source, it exists as a ".afr" file in a temp folder. When I go to that location, the afr is nowhere to be seen. When trying to export the data frame as a Tiff the option to write GeoTIFF tags is greyed out - a problem I've come across before, but have since forgotten if this can be resolved.

I really like the mutli-directional hillshade function ERSI is testing. I'm wondering if there's any way the hillshade can be exported as a referenced raster? It seems to exist as a layer, but is just displaying the input raster in another layer (?). It's one of the few things ESRI has actually done to improve ArcMap, but limited if it can't be used as spatial data outside ArcMap.

This "works", but is really not a conversion, but rather just a georeferencing an image. All the new topo maps the USGS is producing contain vector data that is 100% useless to anyone using ArcMap. I can georeference all day long, but it will never retain vector data. I can still access referenced topo maps from the CASIL site, but good luck getting them from the USGS ever again. Ultimately, the USGS blew it big time when they got bamboozled into producing GeoPDFs. ESRI could not care less about the problem - they're getting paid either way.

Yet another ponderously annoying bug in ArcMap - when I change font color for a set of annotations that have leaders, the leaders vanish. Not only do they disappear, the leader properties reset completely. This same problem occurs randomly when I change other text properties (e.g., halo, bold, etc.), but happens no matter what when changing color. Any clue as to what is happening?

OK... My first major project in 10.2 has ground to a halt by this issue. I have tried the solutions above and THEY DO NOT WORK. Has ESRI acknowledged this in formally in any way, or is it another in the vastly long list of bugs that they pretend doesn't exist?Mind mindbogglingly frustrating...

I have added splined text to a map in Layout View (obviously) and all of a sudden I am unable to select, edit, move, or delete the added text. The select elements arrow does nothing. I can add text and edit it, but for some reason the splined text is locked. I have restarted ArcMap, restarted the computer, and nothing... Yet another project ground to a complete halt by a bug in ArcMap... Please, please, please I could use help with this...

I am exporting a map to TIFF and have changed the background color to 'no color', but the resulting TIFF retains whatever the data frame's background color is. The problem is that simple... how do I get rid of the background color when exporting to a TIFF? The option is there but it does nothing.

Does ESRI staff even look at the forums? This problem persists and they hasn't even been any acknowledgement that it is a problem.
