log4j is showing up in our security scans under the default python install: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\Lib\site-packages\saspy\java\iomclient Does this fall under the ESRI response for pro: Recent releases of ArcGIS Pro contain Log4j but are not known to be exploitable as the software does not listen for remote traffic. Is there any concern in removing this package from our user base install? Our security team is not happy with the ESRI response and want this removed.

Is there a solution or workaround to this issue? I'm creating a view from a survey123 feature service and noticing the same behavior. Deletes from original data source do not populate in the view and edits made in original duplicate in view - with same object id's. This is in Portal 10.7

It seems this issue has to do with our HUB sites dcat.json. The dcat.json is either plain missing items that are shared in OpenData groups or will have multiple entries for the same item. The dupes in dcat.json match the dupes we are having inside our search dropdown and data categories so there has to be some relation. I've been monitoring the dcat.json throughout the day with a app that I'm working on and it this object is always changing. i.e. Our dcat had 14 missing items from our HUB inventory yesterday morning 6am. By 9am our dcat had 8 duplicates entries for different items. Looping over our HUB inventory and unsharing than resharing the items seemed to fix the dcat issue after multiple attempts. Come back in this morning and now our dcat has 3 missing items. Would love some insight on whats going on here.

For some reason certain data items inside our HUB site are showing up multiple times inside our main search input box drop down and when we view a category. These items exists only once inside our organization. When I look at the object that is populating the drop down results, each item's data has the same item id with an _# at the end of the item id property. The same thing is happening when I enter one of our categories - same data item showing up multiple times. I figured tripping off a manual index would fix this issue but after multiple tries the issue still persist. Any idea for a fix? I've attached imgs showing the issues.

Old but ran into this issue today. You can add more logic after the content.search to workaround the limitation: searchData=gis.content.search(query='title:{} AND owner:{}'.format(name, owner)) for search in searchData: if search["title"]==name: #match

Can't seem to find any documentation but is it possible to add a secure service to agol/portal with gis.content.add()? Don't seem to have the option inside item_properties so I'm thinking this is not possible at the moment. Or possible with the rest api?

Experiencing odd behavior when implementing a database sequence within a attribute rule on a versioned feature service. This is only occurring with line feature services - points and polygon sequences in the same environment work as expected. To start, I've been developing the rule on a local file geodatabase. The calculation rule with the sequence is working as expected on my line feature class. Increase by 1 on each insert or split. Screen shot is attached - localSeq.png - 90008 - 90011 are new line features while 90012 - 90014 are splits. When I push the rule up to my feature service is where it goes odd. I will create a new line feature and the sequence will say start with 1. The next line feature I create will be 3, and the next line feature will be 5 - it is jumping by 2. Now If I make a split off a line feature with the sequence of 5 - the new split feature will be sequence 6, next split will be 7 - splits jump up by 1. Screenshot named featureSeq.png attached, 90010 - 90018 are new line features and 90019-90021 are splits. So adding new features jumps by 2 while splits jump by 1. I expect all should jump by 1. Not sure if this a bug or intended but I'm at wits end attempting to work around this. Little help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this is the right section to be posting under but doing most of my work in Pro with a local scene. Could anyone point me in the right direction or info/steps to extrude my DTM to give it the tabletop effect from the realistic water javascript demo? Thanks for getting back Graham. I'm in agreement with the browser (chrome) messing with the url as the individual data site links were working fine yesterday and seem to be defaulting to https today. I was referencing the attached img of the https setting: Anyhow, here is the site: http://gis-annearundelmd.opendata.arcgis.com/ Its the two "Data Initiative" datasets that are giving me issue. Its private at the moment but assuming since your esri you can access. *Also, I'm having DNS errors on datasets inside HUB that I have not been able to figure out. Its confusing me as I'm referencing the same arcgis server. 2 datasets - the ones mentioned above - are working while 4 others are giving me DNS errors. I planned to start a ticket today but if you have the chance would be something to check out while your in there.

In the early stages of designing our county's Open Data page and working on inventory of our content. I've noticed that while enforce https in the sites setting page is set to OFF - main Open Data Page will load with http - if I click into a dataset to view or download, the /datasets/ page will switch to https. This is causing issues with datasets that are linked to arcgis server mapping services - the servers are using http. The /datasets/ page will load but the data shows "Error fetching data". If switch the datasets URL to http, the datasets page will load without error. Figured setting the enforce https to off inside the sites setting would force http throughout the site, is this expected behavior or any workarounds?

Have read a few other posts but no resolutions - possibly rolling back to Pro 2.1. Anyone have a clue on how to get past this or any alternatives to overwrite a SD on agol?

I'm looping through all users in our org to gather info for a dashboard. I've noticed that on all users the storageUsage is the same along with storageQuota for each users. All other results - role, created, modified, level, etc are all returning correct values for each users. I'm using users.get(id) to pull info. GIS is logged in under an admin account. Expecting storageUsage to be different depending on user content loaded into online. But again the storageUsage is all the same for each user. Is this expected? or am I doing something/thinking wrong?
