I want to add a circle with a radius with esri.tasks.GeometryService over a feature layer, see attached picture. The features outside the circle are clickable but not inside. What I have to do to make the features inside the circle clickable?

Ok, thanks, I did it your way, but the effect is the same: I can't click inside the symbol where the text is to open the info window. Only in areas where no text is I can click to open the info window. How can I fix this?

I have a graphic and a text inside the graphic:
...
var SVfeatureCollection = {layerDefinition: layerDefinition, featureSet: null};
var SVpointsLayer = new esri.layers.FeatureLayer(SVfeatureCollection, {mode: esri.layers.FeatureLayer.MODE_SNAPSHOT});
map.addLayer(SVpointsLayer);
var SVpointsInfoTemplate = new esri.InfoTemplate("<div class='a'><b>${name}</b></div>", "<div class='a'>${text}</div>");
var font = new esri.symbol.Font("8pt", esri.symbol.Font.STYLE_NORMAL, esri.symbol.Font.VARIANT_NORMAL, esri.symbol.Font.WEIGHT_NORMAL, "Arial");
dojo.forEach(SVpointFeatures, function (feature) {
feature.geometry = esri.geometry.geographicToWebMercator(feature.geometry);
var textSymbol = new esri.symbol.TextSymbol(feature.attributes.init, font, new dojo.Color("#000000"));
textSymbol.setOffset(0, -2);
feature.symbol=new esri.symbol.PictureMarkerSymbol('pictures/flag.png', 22, 20);
SVpointsLayer.add(feature.setInfoTemplate(SVpointsInfoTemplate));
SVpointsLayer.add(new esri.Graphic(feature.geometry, textSymbol));
});
SVpointsLayer.show();
...
The points layer is a feature layer with an info window. I can't open the info window when I click inside the graphic where the text is. Only when I click the areas where no text is I can open the info window. What can I do?

I've solved it. iUI can't show the default symbol. When I changed the symbol to for example var sym = new esri.symbol.SimpleMarkerSymbol(esri.symbol.SimpleMarkerSymbol.STYLE_CIRCLE, 12, esri.symbol.SimpleLineSymbol(), new dojo.Color("red") ); map.graphics.add(new esri.Graphic(esri.geometry.geographicToWebMercator(pt), sym, ... the marker will be displayed.

I want to display a map and a marker with the Esri Javascript API and Google iUI. The map is displayed but not the marker. Here is a code example (maptest.html): <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <style type="text/css"> #map{width:320px;height:440px;} </style> <title>OSM Test</title> <meta name="viewport" content="width=320; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0;"/> <style type="text/css" media="screen">@import "iui/iui.css";</style> <script type="application/x-javascript" src="iui/iui.js"></script> <script src="http://serverapi.arcgisonline.com/jsapi/arcgis/?v=2.3" type="text/javascript"></script> <link href="http://serverapi.arcgisonline.com/jsapi/arcgis/2.3/js/dojo/dijit/themes/claro/claro.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script type="text/javascript"> function loadmap() { var initExtent = new esri.geometry.Extent({"xmin":-10427539,"ymin":5592973,"xmax":-10358746,"ymax":5638836,"spatialReference":{"wkid":102100}}); map = new esri.Map("map",{extent:initExtent}); var basemapURL= "http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Street_Map/MapServer" var basemap = new esri.layers.ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer(basemapURL); map.addLayer(basemap); dojo.connect(map, 'onLoad', function() { var pt = new esri.geometry.Point(-93.3, 45, new esri.SpatialReference({ 'wkid': 4326 })); map.graphics.add(new esri.Graphic(esri.geometry.geographicToWebMercator(pt), new esri.symbol.SimpleMarkerSymbol(), { 'title': 'Some Title...', 'content': 'Some content...' }, new esri.InfoTemplate('${title}', '${content}') )); }); } </script> </head> <body onload="loadmap()"> <div class="toolbar"> <h1 id="pageTitle"></h1> <a id="backButton" class="button" href="#"></a> </div> <ul id="home" title="Menu" selected = "true"> <li><a href="#map">Esri Map Test</a></li> </ul> <div id="map" title="Esri Map Test"></div> </body> </html>

Hello, creating a graphics layer with a polygon works with esri streetmap layer (see attached example TestPolygonEsriStreetMap.html.txt), but it doesn't work with openstreetmap layer (see attached example TestPolygonOpenStreetMap.html.txt). Any ideas what went wrong?
