Hello all. I'm curious if the solution linked below can be deployed in our Enterprise/Portal environment, instead of AGOL? https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/6240b65a5cd44c8dbffa913dd533e580 I'm interested in using it for our Land Application site team for tracking inventory and purchase needs. Thank you!

Why would the map not be allowed to be changed? It's just a basic map with a base map and one feature class in it to edit. The map won't be changed. Just the data in it.

In our Portal, I have a simple map with one view layer inside it, for the purpose of using in Field Maps on our GPS unit. The goal is for the user to be able to capture stormwater outfalls in an offline map area. We have successfully been able to do this in the past. The group is set with editing capabilities for all members in the group, and all other edit settings are properly configured. I tried today to go back to the previous offline map area in our GPS units via Field Maps and now the map doesn't show up. When I went into our Portal to double check my settings, I saw this Feature Disabled error on the map. I also receive the same error when opening in web Field Maps. If users NEED to be able to edit the data and have the permissions to do so, why would this feature be disabled and how do I fix it?

That's exactly what I was looking for! Still getting my feet wet in AGOL and really enjoying it so far. This will save a lot of time! Thank you so much Katherine!

Hello. I am curious if there is a function in ArcGIS Online that will allow me to save layers as if I were saving a layer file in ArcMap? I think it would serve me well to have something like that for layers I use regularly instead of having to manually change each feature to the custom symbol I like to use. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Is there a way to change the title mentioned paths so that each new project goes where I want it to go? I work on a network and do not want my files saved to the default location currently set. I would also like to set my default geodatabases as my SDE DBs and not the one that comes with each new project. I don't want to change it per project, I want to change it to default for every new project. (The questions I saw in my search related to per project, hence my reason for asking this question.) Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I'm only a few days into using ArcGIS Pro and have LOVED every second of it. Until I learned that you can't publish a map service from Pro. Seems a bit silly to have to put my content back into Desktop so I can do that. Pretty big let down after being so incredibly impressed with it thus far. :-S

Thank you! I actually figured out how to show the fields I want using the custom expressions but this is good to know that I can do it this way instead. Do you know how I would not show the field names but just the content of each field?

I am new to ArcGIS Online, so also new to Arcade. I am curious how to use the expression builder in AGOL for customizing how my labels appear on the pop up windows. My very basic example shows how my data is showing by default. I'd like to be able to show it as follows: Name of facility Address of facility Phone number of facility I don't want to show the attribute name either. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I am using ArcMap 10.3.1 and am still baffled that there still doesn't seem to be an option to show a group name in your map legend. I still only show different ways of showing the Layer Name and/or the heading. I thought for sure by this version, that would have been added since it's been requested for so long. Does anyone know something different than I do or have you come up with a work around for this issue if not?

I didn't interpret it the same I guess. My apologies. I'm pretty new to doing things like this so terminology and such throw me off sometimes. Thank you so much for your help though. Very much appreciated.

Yes Jayanta, it did work. Joe, between the two feature classes, I was able to copy from one to the other but not the opposite way around. Basically, I had a table of addresses (We'll call it Table A) that I had X & Y values for that I easily generated 500+ points from. The attributes obviously remained the same. I had a second table of roughly 30 addresses (we'll call it Table B) that had no X & Y values. So I geocoded them and took care of the unmatched/tied addresses to get as many accurate points as I could. That process of course, generated extra fields. The table for this one also had a couple more fields than Table A prior to the geocoding. My ultimate goal was simply to get all of the resulting points from both feature class A (from Table A) and feature class B (From Table B) into one feature class. It wasn't a concern if I ended up with all fields of both, included in the final output because I was just going to be using the points for a density map. Initially, I tried to copy/paste from feature class B to feature class A. It didn't like that. So for grins, I tried to copy the opposite way around. I was able to do that successfully. Basically, all of the fields I had from feature class B, are empty for the features I copied from feature class A in the output. I'm still trying to figure out why it worked one way but not the other. Thank you both for your replies.

So I copied one feature class and pasted to the other. And it worked. Surprised.
