Using ArcGIS Pro version: 2.8.0 ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatabase version: 10.8 We have a feature class with attachments enabled, which is also set to have Archiving enabled so it can be taken offline. The feature class has roughly 40 thousand records in it and every single record has at least 1 photo attachment of anywhere between 500kb to 1mb in size associated with it. The attachment table is now roughly 40gb's. When we want to unarchive this feature class for any reason, usually some type of database administration, we find that it can take 5/6 hours just to Unarchive it. This of course makes even the smallest administration task extremely cumbersome and almost impossible in some of our standard outage windows with our clients. When doing a direct SQL query through SSMS, to an attachment table that is this large, using "SELECT * FROM [TABLE_X]", the transaction takes an hour or more (have never let it run to completion). As soon as we change the query to include all fields "except" for the Blob/data field in the attachment table, it is virtually instant. I have worked on large attachment tables before (unsure if this large) and have never had a similar issue. I wonder if this is a new bug introduced in a more recent version or Pro or something? Has anyone else experienced an issue similar to this? Is this expected behaviour?

I am experiencing this same issue after upgrading from 10.8.1 to 10.9. Interestingly we have a test environment that does not replicate this issue. Very interested to see where you get with it.

Client has reported that sometimes point attachments will display the wrong attachment/s in pop-ups. They have been able to capture this issue with video screen capture. We have now also been able to replicate this issue. So we believe this issue to be "real" and not based in user error. In detail this is what is happening; a user is selecting power poles in a ArcGIS Portal Web Map (10.8) and reviewing their photo attachments. As the user works a long a chain of poles they will suddenly get a pole that actually links the user to a photo attachment for a previous pole. If you keep selecting poles and looking at photo attachments, then eventually the pole that was displaying the incorrect pole will correct itself. This of course is extremely disruptive and will require more investigation, looking to submit this as an official support ticket very soon. One supplementary note is that we were only able to replicate this issue in FireFox web browser so far, so have advised client (who recently changed to FireFox) to change back to using Chrome to see if this is more reliable. Interested to hear if anyone else has experienced this issue in their own environments before I submit an actual support query to our provider/reseller? CLawrence-esristaff ?

Can we confirm that photos are actually being attached the wrong feature? We are having a maybe similar issue where people using a web map to review attached photos on Power pole points in a web map, see the photos start to appear as being on the wrong point/pole. But it seems more to be a caching issue than the photo is actually attached to the same point/pole. After refreshing the browser or waiting long enough the pole will eventually show up as correct. We have also been able to reproduce this issue (however only in Firefox browser at this point) and we have videos from our client with this happening as a good source of proof, happy to share these directly with Esri if requested but cannot share publicly.

This issue is now resolved. We discovered that a recent project on our Azure environment was reusing tags that Cloud Builder uses, this was somehow confusing Cloud Builder. We removed them and then it started working again immediately.

Attempting to use Azure Cloud Builder 10.8 to deploy a new 10.8 Enterprise site. Seems I cannot get the 10.8 Cloud Builder to open, getting the following error: I can get it to run with another personal test account but so long as I'm plugging into my organisations account it isn't working. I've tried multiple machines and have asked other administrators to do it, but no one can get it to work. Wondering if the limitation is due to the fact that we have an existing 10.7.1 deployment? #help!

Have discovered that dimension feature classes (even though they are considered a type of annotation) cannot be used in Mobile Map Packages (MMPK). So for now that's our road block to using them, otherwise we were going ahead with using them.

Hey Tom! Unfortunately we never resolved this issue directly. All we ended up doing was retiring the server that would not let us publish directly and standing up new ones Good to see you on here!

Hi Melissa Jarman My initial question was whether we are able to take branch versioned data offline within Collector for ArcGIS. Are you aware if this is going to be implemented at any point? Thanks!

For our environment we have stood up a third server and federated this with our portal. This 3rd portal does not have the overwrite issue, therefore we believe this has something to do with our configuration. Will post when again when fully resolved.

Hello, We also still have this issue. Currently have pending support request with our national distributor. We have just upgraded to 7.1 enterprise and are using the latest ArcGIS Pro and this is not resolved. I'm concerned that even Esri is not aware of this issue yet. Our work around is something similar to what has been suggested but it is far from ideal. After deleting the service then republishing we have to use a python script to update the item id for any existing web map json's in the back end. Extremely frustrating when we have clients expecting an agile environment where republishing/overwriting existing services really shouldn't be such an issue. Interested to hear what anyone comes up with! Thanks Hamish

I/we don't really have a preference at this point on which method is better query/filter. The web map filter definitely feels 'cleaner' now. But probably more because it works, and/or gut feel is that the filter in the web map is better suited in providing the format that the web app needs. I agree that its likely that the query was the main issue but as I have not had time to trouble shoot them individually I can not absolutely confirm this (remembering here that the original issue was very intermittent and hard to even replicate, especially in short spaces of time, hence why I was unable to test each item individually). Thanks! Hamish.
