I'm attempting to apply the "required components" of repeat as described in the heading "Aggregation function (join). Here's what I got: type name label calculation constraint constraint_mesage begin repeat Plant_Group Plant Group Species Richness select_one plant_group or_other m_plantGroup Plant Group ... end repeat select_multiple plant_group m_plantGroupAll Plant Groups estimated join(",",${m_plantGroup}) count-selected(${m_plantGroupAll})=6 All six plant groups must have species richness and percent cover values. The thing is, each of the plant_group options don't have to be selected. I could select 6 vine groups and it is passing the form validation. Or in the case below, I made 2 vine groups and 1 of each of the other checked. Can I somehow get it so the data is not validated unless each of the six groups are chosen?

I found a workaround! Under the Feature Layer settings, you also should uncheck "Keep track of changes to the data (add, update, delete features)." Worked after saving and refreshing the overview page. I figured it out by comparing the settings on a feature layer that I could still update data on and the one that wasn't working. I don't know why keeping track of the editor messes things up, but it does.

I'm also having this problem. Any workarounds or solutions yet? I also tried unchecking the Sync, but the Update Existing Features is still greyed out 18 hours later.

A few things I've tried: Double-checked names Give all fields display names Resaved .csv file Made .csv filename shorter Replaced ";" with "," (changed back to ";" after it didn't work) Moved fields out of the repeat

The pulldata() function is no longer working to retrieve values from a .csv in the media folder for my Survey123 form. I have tried half-a-dozen things with no luck. This newer survey (2022) was made from an older survey (published early 2021) where the pulldata() worked in Survey123 at the time. Now on the older survey the pulldata() continues to work on the form on the field app, but no longer functions/displays on the Survey123 Connect preview. Neither work on the new survey. Attached is the newer survey XLSForm (rows/lines 48-61) and .csv file used for pulldata(). Using Survey123Connect version 3.13.239; form version 3.12. Edit: Added .zip file of entire survey to previous .xlsx and .csv attachments.

I don't think a standardized pick-list would meet the need, although it would be better than nothing/the notes I make in the filenames and summaries I end up exporting. I'm not looking to add a field in the Survey itself. I'm looking to be able to add a comment when I append data via the AGOL portal.

This is crucial for those of us that want to make R code to organize or analyze our data outside of ArcOnline. Spaces and similar labels (Especially when long labels in Survey123 form are truncated) are problematic.

Thanks, Philip and Doug! I didn't any any entry in the form_id cell, so it must have defaulted somewhere. I kept changing form_title, which did not work.

I have a Survey123 form with multiple tables/repeats and existing data. I wanted to edit some constraints. I pulled the .xls form from the existing survey to edit via "Edit in Survey123 Connect" in ArcOnline portal, edited two constraint cells. When I try to re-publish it tells me that "The existing data is not compatible with the survey - (Table EFB_LAMP_2020 not found)." I have made no adjustments to the tables and do not know how to change the constrains without loosing the existing data. It looks like the table it is referring to is actually called EFB_LAMP in the existing Feature Layer. I'm not sure how the two names got used. How do I reconcile the two names so I can update the constraints for the survey form? I've tried updating the Title under General Settings, but I get the same message. Error message: Existing Feature Layer Layers: Survey123 Connect layers:

Allow for comments when appending data in ArcOnline, similar to commit comments in versioning in GitHub. Example: I'm collecting biodiversity data in the field. I recently converted from paper forms to Survey123 forms. In the ArcOnline feature, I want to append legacy data from the years prior to the Survey123 forms. Later, I might need to change some taxonomic data in the records (e.g., the scientific name of the organism changed). To store a comment about what I was doing when I appended the data will help understanding statistics and changes in the feature.

Almost every export format uses column/field display names or truncated true names. The GeoFeature does export the true names, but it involves more steps to get that data into a .csv for manipulation in another program (e.g., R). Is there some way I can export .csv files of my data and have the true names listed?
