Version 1.0.1 is our first public release of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android. With this initial release we use GLSurfaceView and OpenGL ES 2.0 API classes which is supported on Android 2.2 (API level 😎 and above. The older SDK you are referring to was a Beta release which did not have this dependency. Apps built with the release version of the SDK must be restricted to devices that support OpenGL ES 2.0. Here is link to OpenGL support in Android SDK for further reference. Hi, We need to reinstall the BETTA SDK to fix a bug in an old project after we lost the development environment! we can't affort to switch the application to final relase, how can we reinstall the old Betta SDK? Regards

Hi, In the normal window forms, we usually have an accept button and an escape button property. In the ArcGIS Explorer button this doesn't exist. How to simulate it? Something else, when you use the tab button to move been controls, and you settle on a button, pressing the enter button doesn't invoke the click event of the button!!! Why is that? Big Thanks

I recently migrated my project to a 64 bits machine, how ever when i try to build the proejct in visual studio 2010, I get the error: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Explorer/bin/ESRI.ArcGISExplorer.dll' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. Any body has an idea what could be the solution to this? Thanks

I recently reported an issue to ESRI and thery replied back that it is a bug and gave it the number NIM076987. The bug is in the enumerator of RowCollection, if you run a foreach loop on a rowCollection, then sometimes this loop will break in the middle, or even break at the begining. I was trying to add the results in the row Collection to my array of objects using a foreach loop, but I bumped into this bug. I then tried to give the TableBindingAdapter as a direct datasource to mu grid or combo box, but also same result. Some times the grid is filled with all the data, other times some of the data, and in rare case no data at all !!! Anybody has an idea to a workaround for this issue? Regards

Hi, I have an application that is composed from a dock window and an extension. At the onStartUp event of the Extension I am adding my own layers. The client requested that this Application should always open with a specified extent. I tried this code in the OnStartup event: ESRI.ArcGISExplorer.Application.Application.ActiveMapDisplay.ZoomTo(new Envelope(27.0035540404876, 15.2397874917475, 56.8697829519645, 31.6822644786311), 800000);
but id did nothing. If I place this code insite the dock window it works fine, but the problem is that I can't do this because I can't be sure that onStartup of the application the dock window will be open. Is there a way to do this? Thanks
