Yes. I have resolved that issue. I am now able to create a replica through the REST API with downloading attachments. Still can't download or add attachments in app.

I too am having trouble on both iphone and Android (Samsung s4) downloading offline map and adding attachments using collector through AGOL. All else (editing, updating ,etc) is working. SDE 10.1 Desktop 10.2.2 Server 10.2.2 I have un-versioned archive enabled and sync is on. Adding attachments works fine in AGOL map. Creating a replica through REST API works fine (see below) However, when I select "return attachments" through the REST API form when creating replica, I get "Unable to complete operation. Failed to create table descriptions from input. ObjectID-based attachments are not supported."

Which version of Portal are you using? 10.2 Is this occurring right after installation or did Portal work for, let's say, a few days before failing? Right after install Was this Portal instance federated with ArcGIS for Server? If yes, how many servers in the AGS site? Is Portal on a different machine than AcGIS for Server? Portal is on the same machine. I haven't gotten to the point of connecting portal to ArcGIS Server or web adaptor because the service windows service won't even start. What is the operating system for the Portal machine? Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Service Pack 1 Have you configured the web adaptor for Portal and/or ArcGIS for Server? I have not configured the web adaptor because it can't see the portal instance. The portal url http://machine.domain.com:7080 is unavailable because the portal windows service will not start. Have you enabled SSL for Portal? Can't. Service isn't running ton enable it. Which account are you using to run the Portal service? Does it have R/W privileges to the arcgisportal directories? Yes

I can actually start the service without errors but then if I refresh, it stops. Here is the error in event viewer: The description for Event ID 4098 from source Portal for ArcGIS cannot be found. Hello all, Not just a beer but a 6 pack to the person who can help me with this. We are deploying the Geoportal behind a reverse proxy server (Apache). The app can be seen here and the app can be see here http://certmapper.cr.usgs.gov/geoportal/ Everything works fine except the map service preview pages. Basically, the app is generating the preview embed url automatically server side which ends up being, not the external host name which it needs to be (certmapper.cr.usgs.gov) but the internal ip (136.177.40.15:8080) of the machine is actually resides on which is behind the reverse proxy and can not be seen from the outside. Take a look here http://tinyurl.com/7ckogul I also have a feeling that this is why the preview map is throwing an exception. Please help. I would be willing to even hardcode it if needed but can't find where or how this is getting generated.

Hello everyone, I am am sure this is simple but was wondering how to add additional sites to geoportal. I noticed in the sandbox that several additional sites were added (data.gov, youtube etc) and would like to do the same. The profiles seem to exist already, I just need to turn them on. Thanks in advance.

Well, I think I fixed it sort of. Had to backtrack to 2.0 jsapi. Not sure this is desirable but a work around for now.

When the search page is initially rendered, the search map doesn't appear. If I reload the page, it shows up. Works fine in chrome, not ie or ff. I think that is were the problem is, not on the web client end because I get the same error in flex, js, whatever. Yes, the model is expecting a raster dataset which points to a raster that I have tried in both a geodatabase as well as just a file system raster.
