I'm looking for an easy way to append an arcsde geodatabase with attachments (relationship class and tables) that were collected with Collector for arcgis. I exported the feature layers to a file geodatabase (in arcgis online) and now i'm looking to update a company arcsde geodatabase. I know an xml export will work however, this creates new feature classes and domains and I don't want to create new feature classes in my existing geodatabase, i want to append existing feature classes and also add the attachments. i've used the simple data loader to load the updated or newly created features but can't seem to find a way to bring in my attachments for those features without creating an xml workspace. I think the trouble is the naming convention for the arcsde geodatabase because i can perform these actions just fine using file geodatabases. append won't work either. any ideas can help.

Hello I have my workgroup database set up on my computer (let's call it "workgroup\sqlexpress")and i was able to create and connect to my database server in ArcCatalog just fine. I'm able to create geodatabases and i have attached geodatabases. I actually had to paste the .mdf file in program Files/microsoft sql server.....Data folder in order to attach the geodatabase otherwise browsing to another location resulted in a failure to attach. I had previously granted permission to 2 existing users on my local network (let's call them COMPANY\jbrown & COMPANY\rwhite") and that was done successfully. I tried to add another user today, however i can't and i'm not sure how to fix this. I can tell what the problem; when i go to permissions and Add user, in the select group or user dialog under the "From this Location" when i select the "Locations" button I can't browse to my network "COMPANY", I only have the option to add users from my local computer name "workgroup" and can't go any further than there. my second issue is that when I asked "COMPANY\jbrown" to log in and the add database server "workgroup\sqlexpress" he gets the failure message about Cannot connect or add database server. This person is set up as a Geodatabase Administrator so they have appropriate privileges. I'm not sure what to do here; i'm still relatively new to server and database servers so any help from anyone would be so appreciated. thanks much

I currently have arcgis server workgroup 10.4.1 installed on my computer and it was working just fine until now, all my services have seemingly "stopped" and i am unable to publish any services; when i try to, i get an error message "server is not ready for publishing.... i checked the server manager and all the services are in "stopping" state. i tried to stop the individual services in server manager and the server will stop the service, however when i restart it i get an error message to "failed to start the server machine {computer name}.Error while starting AppServer. required port {0} already in use". I tried to stop/start the arcgis server service from administrative tools (in control panel) but all options are greyed out so I can't stop or restart the service, i have tried granting all users full control (since i needed administrator access when i first installed server) to the arcgisserver folder, i tried to start the publishing tools GP but i got another error message that it failed to start. i tried to publish my service using the service definition file but i get another message about starting the service (which does not start when i select start service)... my current connection is using https://localhost:6443/arcgis/manager I don't want to reinstall, because i fear i will lose my services if i do but if i have to what can I do to ensure my services are there once i create the server manager site?
