BENEFITS OF MUSIC IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ALTERNATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROPOSAL FOR GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS
This paper describes a proposal for teaching Geographic Information Systems, using the diverse musical tastes of students as element of recognition of differences of thought, tolerance, inclusion and construction, in order to create the ideal conditions for collaborative work in the classroom, wich, represents the basis for transforming the classical competitive structure, towards an alternative pedagogical approach: knowledge integral management, the use of spatial analysis tools to solve problems focused on the topics of interest and decreased memory and qualifications as the only element for monitoring learning process. this pedagogical proposal was developed for 3 years and the results are expressed through interviews with students.
