Hi everyone, I have been using FeatureLayers in my map on my Angular project for some time with no issues at all during development and just yesterday this started popping up & I have no idea why, the layers get created as normal but do no display and show this error in console. Any ideas on what has changed? The error does not give much detail I was on version * "arcgis-js-api": "^4.16.0-next.20200716" and updated to: "arcgis-js-api": "^4.16.2" Which did not resolve my problem.

I had to add this line: { name: "arcgis-js-api", location: `${DEFAULT_WORKER_URL}esri` } To my loaderConfig packages as it was resolving the file at the wrong url.

Hi everyone, Hope everyone is well, I am currently building some mapping software where my customer can draw polygon data in respect to property boundaries so usually just single rectangles or slightly more complex at times. This will be used in Australia but the intent in the future would be international. From my research, I have noticed that the data I get from the polygon is some sort of x,y which is then interpreted using spatial reference data. From what I understand Longitude & Latitude can be used globally and effectively I wouldn't need a spatial reference? This leads me to my question I want to save the data in a universal way that is simplest to use, I have noticed geoJSON seems to be the most unified way to store data but doesn't seem to be the most ideal way to process data with ESRI? I'm looking for opinions on how to save my polygon data, at the moment from my research I have decided to save in GeoJSON format using the Lat & Lng data instead of x, y data and a spatial ref. In your guy's opinion does this seem like a good direction to go. Furthermore, the DB I am using is MongoDB & they do seem to have some decent support for GeoJSON data which it looks like will make it easy to query etc. I have attached a picture of the data I get, then I loop it using .getPoint() to get the actual Lat, Lng, then, in turn, I will save to the database. Any information/experience/guidance on this is appreciated. this would obviously be saved in GeoJson format like so: { "type": "Polygon", "coordinates": [[[100, 0], [101, 0], [101, 1], [100, 1], [100, 0]]] },

Here is a similar question & answer that is relevant here. Is there a way to animate a padding change?

Solved, So after playing with the padding, it was evident it didn't really match what I was after. By adding the padding it pushed up any widgets I had along the bottom of the map which was not the desired effect. What I really needed was a function that would offset the centre point in pixels and zoom to that location instead, this was to account for any information I am showing along the bottom. In short, I supply a longitude, latitude & and offset object with values in pixels, which then calculates the pixel offset and returns the new longitude & latitude. There may be an easier way to do this but this is what I ended up with. This is the main function MapOffset interface Goto Function Calling it Video Example of it working: Using a pixel offset with Esri - YouTube An example of the offset.

Hi Everyone, So I have a map where I show some custom data at the bottom of the map and it kind of obscures the view. My code currently calculates the height of the data div and adds that dimension in padding to the bottom of the map to make the centring more pleasant. The problem is that it is a hard change to the map and does not cleanly animate to the new position. Is there currently a way to animate a padding change using the javascript API? I actually centre the map at the same time, so perhaps there is a way to calculate an offset size into the new centre before I centre the map. Any ideas welcome. Ryann,
