Hi @JamesTedrick @IsmaelChivite When we use Power automate to send info from a survye123 , we Need to use the AGOL account of the owner of the survey123. In Power automate usually we know the owner of all the Microsoft's connectors but not for the Survey123, for example I have more than 1 user for the teams connexion ( see image Below). When we use the Survey123 connector we can't discriminate the owner of the account. In fact, I can't user more the one AGOL account with all Survey123 connector. I try to make a new connection with another account, but the account is still with my name in the detail Is there a way for ESRI to display the information, and can we use more than one Account for the survey123 connexion? It's the same for the new ArcGIS connector ;(. Florence

Hi Mike Unfortunately, for the name of the connection it's the system who choose the name, and I can't change them . This is probably since my flow (power automate) is in my office 365 account and my connexion to that account is linked to my AD (office) account, but I'm not sure about the large number of connection, All the connections are not necessarily working right now, many are obsolete. This survey123 was “my survey test” to understand and try some of the connector in Microsoft flow: email with outlook or with Gmail, share point, excel, etc.

Thanks, Phillip, for the explanation. I understand that my way to transfer the information from the parent form to the repeat (child) doesn’t work very well when we update the parent. My problem is that we use only the repeat layer in a webapp to show the result of the survey, and we would like to show the parent info in the same layer without a joint. So Is there à way to transfer the information from the parent form to all the chill using a hidden way, when I update the parent form without to have to update all the child individually?

I have a survey with a repeat. In the survey I have a question to know if the survey is cancelled or not. I need to report that information in every repeat. I try a calculate in the repeat to copy the information. But only the first repeat contains the value of the calculate. I have the same problem with another calculate field (sum) in the repeat the field contains the result of the concatenation of 2 fields from the main survey. Is there a way to calculate the value for each repeat? this is the result of the 4 repeats in the same survey. I joint my xls form

Hi everybody This is my workflow: Our field worker A aka “Albert” submitted a survey, with MSflow an email is sent for another office worker B aka “Bernard” to do some action. “Albert” is able to change the survey using the inbox, Case 1 : If Albert make change in the survey, an email will be sent ta Bernard with the following suffix in the title of the « _modification » (I know how to capture that information with flow using comparison with the date CreationDate and EditDate) Case 2 : Sometime “Albert” don’t change the data but submit again the survey (Albert didn’t use the discard cross in the top left , but the check mark in the bottom right of the screen). Bernard will receive an email with the same suffix because« _modification » the EditDate was updating but not the data entry. I don’t want to send the email with this suffix because Bernard will waste is time searching the nonexistence modification. So Using flow or in the survey: Is there a way to know if a survey123 was modified from the inbox? Or is there a way to know if the data were edited then send a second, third time with flow? Or is there a way to know the count of the times that the survey is submitted? thanks

This is my contribution to notify to an user (if not using survey123 in disconnected mode) than the form needs to be reload. How it‘s working: You publish a table in AGOL with a field contained the version info (VAL_VERSION), each time you open the form in the field survey123 a function *js send and ID, retrieve the version and the calculation perform the comparison This example uses a javasript function to send and ID and retrieve the version What you need: The javascript code in the zip (contain, the *.xls and the *.js function) Create a reference table or a feature service hosted in AGOL( don't forget to share the table to the same group using yours Survey123) The url of the reference table to retrieve the official value. The table is publish in AGOL. I provide a example of the table, see the cvs to create the table on AGOL. Add an folder named "extensions" in the survey123 project containing the *.js. Note :To make the JS functioning, each time you modify this the *.js file you need to close and reopen the survey123 connect app Detail: All the configuration are done from the xls This is the detail of the values in the XLS ant in the JS function : Javascript function: function QueryFeatureLayerByField(featureLayer,Queryfield,Value, outFields, token, debugmode) Pulldata *.xls: pulldata("@javascript","myFunctionsFR_Demo.js","QueryFeatureLayerByField",${myURLversion},"ID",string(${ID_version}),"*",pulldata("@property","token"),true) variable in the function *.js values pulldata correspondance details featureLayer "https..../0" ${myURLversion} table's URL Queryfield ID "ID" the ID field for the query Value 1 string(${ID_version}) the value to retrieve in the query , ID = 1 outFields * "*" fied retrieve from the query. ou can choose all the field * or a specific field “VAL_VERSION” Survey123 connect: Result: Exemple of the table: This method could be also use to retrieve other info (from the survey himself, past summit ) to populate default value info. thanks for the *.js code and the idea to @Chelsea Rozek for the post Force update to new survey and the post https://community.esri.com/message/823053-pulldata-json-to-query-feature-service-with-token

Hi Jeff, If you collect the date with the Start or End type’s, another option is to use the utcoffset from the pulldata function: pulldata("@property", 'utcoffset') and add that value to the UTC date You can calculate the date time with the following formula: format-date(${start} + ${utcoffset },'%Y/%m/%d %H:%M:%S')

IDEA

For survey use by many people, information is always the same for one or two questions. The idea is a function used to store certain answer by the user in a csv (with a "pushdata" function). The answer will be retrieved in the next survey to fill the default value with a pulldata. Currently , the favourite answer option's in the survey field app doesn't work very well for that purpose if there is many hidden column with calculation and with "once() function". And usually the field user doesn't know how to use it. With this function, the survey designer will be able to simplify the use of the survey using survey123 connect regardless of the level of knowledge of the end user. For example, the survey is used in many cities, but each user is assigned to one city only. Each time the user fill the survey, he needs to answer the question about the city with the same answer again and again. That question cannot be set by default in the xls form in the survey because for each user, the answer (name of the city) is different. And if the user work in a new city, he needs to choose a new one. That information cannot be stored in a classic csv (with pulldata) associate with the username, because this would be too complicated to follow the changes: new users, the user replaced by another field worker for holiday only ... etc. The CVS would be blank or filled by default values to be changed for the first use.

Finally, I find a way to combine my 2 surveys in one. I use a csv file with pulldata function. The csv has multiple username column relates to the project number select in the survey. It's the username of the people in group B allowed to see the information. When the Field worker in a "group A" fill the survey, the form retrieve information about the project and use it with the pulldata to retrieve the usernames contained in the csv to fill some field like "team leader1", "team leader2", "team leader3"…. I use that select in the querry function in the Sent box. (${username} = team leader1 or ${username} = team leader2 or ${username} = teamleader3 or ${username} =username) and status like 'problem' So only the field worker who fills the survey or the team leader can see the survey if there is a problem. The only default in that method is that I need to update the survey with a new csv file if the team's leaders change. With this method I can also add hidden questions to see by team leaders only. I also use a dashboard for review in the office. But for the team leader using a phone and who are in the field it's easiest to use survey123 to follow new problems than a dashboard.

Thank Jim I had already tried this solution but I was using an old version of the spreadsheet without the bind::esri:fieldType column and the "null" condition wasn't working with the old "esriFieldTypeString" column Now it's working perfectly, no new field added. Thank again. I have another question that arises from this error: Is there a way to easily know that there is a new version of the spreadsheet? In the survey123 connect I suppose that the models in the "new survey" button always shows the last version of the spreadsheet. I suggest you add an information about the spreadsheet version somewhere in the excel spreadsheet for example in the "type" tab and somewhere in the "new survey" choice in Survey123 connect. This information could avoid many mistakes for all the community Thank again Florence

I have a survey which I've been using in the IOs app and android app. In my survey I had 3 "questions" with the NOTE type. The notes were linked with a select to give more information about the selection. To select the text to show in the note I was using a pulldata with a csv. The csv contain the text with javascrip/html text format. It was working perfectly fine. But with the latest release of survey123 (3.5.164) the pulldata in the note in my survey doesn't work anymore. The only way to show the text in the note is to create a field for each note, but I don't need it and don't want it. Why isn't working anymore?
