Using a basemap and data in the web map using local state plane coordinates did not solve the problem for me. It seems like a bug in the print widget. I have an open ticket with ESRI Support on this.

I found a bug where the default setting of hide in legend doesn't get written to the json config file for a web map when adding a new image server layer to the web map. If you change the setting to show in legend and change it back to hide in legend in the web map viewer, the setting gets saved in the json. You can also add the setting to the json file through ArcGIS Online Assistant if you are comfortable hacking the json directly.

Thanks again Paul. I am stepping back through that again today. I read somewhere that you may need to restart the Portal service after updating the WebContextURL. I am giving that a shot.

Thanks for the Wiki Paul. I didn't see anything specific in there for what I am trying to do. I have a strong feeling that what I want to do isn't possible. Portal can only have one WA and that's the issue. I don't want my internal users to have to go outside to get in. The system needs to be accessible from inside the firewall at all times.

I have a Portal site with a federated ArcGIS Server site installed inside of an organizational firewall on the same server. Both web adapters are installed on the same server. Everything works as expected on the inside. ESRI Tech support said that I could use IIS on a reverse proxy server in the DMZ to access Portal from the outside using IIS Rewrite/ARR. I can access Portal, but the data itself is not accessible. The links to feature layers are broken in Portal and when you try to open a web map with internal data, it fails as well. It's obvious that the URLs are pointing to internal servers that aren't accessible from the outside. Has anyone been able to implement Portal this way successfully, or did I get bad advice from the start? PS: Today's solution from Tech Support was to install the web adapter in the DMZ. This is exactly what I don't want to do, because 95% of what the organization needs to do is internal. The external access is only for limited field edits. From ESRI:

Add me to the list. This just started happening. I disabled the ArcGIS Online Connection and it seemed to work. Not ideal though because I regularly use basemap layers from ArcGIS Online for reference. Please fix this ESRI.

I was finally able to selectively create hyperlinks in the identify results. You need to add an event handler to your results datagrid for LoadingRow in your xaml file. The event handler is where I check for a field name and determine whether or not it's a known hyperlink field. I use a helper function to get the current contents of the cell and swap them out with my hyperlink. Not sure if it's the best approach, but it's working great in my app. /// <summary> /// Handles links in id results /// </summary> /// <param name="sender"></param> /// <param name="e"></param> private void IdentifyDetailsDataGrid_LoadingRow(object sender, DataGridRowEventArgs e) { KeyValuePair<string, object> pair = (KeyValuePair<string, object>)e.Row.DataContext; if (pair.Key == FLD_PCN) { DataGridColumn column = this.IdentifyDetailsDataGrid.Columns[1]; FrameworkElement fe = column.GetCellContent(e.Row); FrameworkElement result = GetParent(fe, typeof(DataGridCell)); if (result != null) { DataGridCell cell = (DataGridCell)result; TextBlock txt = new TextBlock() { Text = pair.Value.ToString(), TextDecorations = TextDecorations.Underline }; HyperlinkButton hyperlink = (HyperlinkButton)cell.Content; hyperlink.Content = txt; hyperlink.Foreground = new SolidColorBrush(Colors.Blue); string strUri = LINK_PAPA + pair.Value.ToString(); Uri lnkUri = new Uri(strUri); hyperlink.NavigateUri = lnkUri; hyperlink.IsHitTestVisible = true; } } .....else if blah blah blah } /// <summary> /// Helper function used to get individual cell contents /// </summary> /// <param name="child"></param> /// <param name="targetType"></param> /// <returns></returns> private FrameworkElement GetParent(FrameworkElement child, Type targetType) { object parent = child.Parent; if (parent != null) { if (parent.GetType() == targetType) { return (FrameworkElement)parent; } else { return GetParent((FrameworkElement)parent, targetType); } } return null; }

I am using the ESRI DraggableWindow to display all of my custom user controls. It's great because it gives my app a consistent look and feel, but I haven't figured out how to control the z-index of the newly opened windows. Every new window goes straight to the bottom of the stack. I am showing the windows using the 'ToggleWindowVisibilityAction' in my xaml. Any ideas?
