I have been tasked with adding metadata to many of our shapefiles. In Pro when I go t set the metadata style, the dropdown is grayed out and the only option is FGDC CSDGM Metadata. We need to add metadata in either the ISO 19139 Metadata Implementation Specification or the ISO 19139 Metadata Implementation Specification GML3.2 style, See below. How can I activate the dropdown? I can enter the information in the ISO style in Arcmap but not Pro.

The polygons have thousands of vertices. As for the graphics card my laptop (Dell) has only the Intel HD Graphics 550 on the motherboard. The rest of the specs are: 16GB RAM I7-5600 CPU @ 2.6 GHz 512 GB SSD Drive Again, I don’t have this trouble at all using Arcmap

When I use tracing to split a polygon against another the tracing action starts out fine and then it will suddenly stall. To get it working a gain I click the line that I am tracing to end that tracing and after a minute I can usually start tracing again. After continuing to trace it stalls again. There are also instances where it will stall and lock up Pro. Doing the same task works fine (and faster) in Arcmap.

I am running ArcGIS Pro 2.2 I have two shapefiles (ShpA and ShpB). I join ShpB to ShpA and I want to update a column in ShapA from ShpB using Calculate Field. This has worked in the past; however, now it fails with the following error: ERROR 999999: Something unexpected caused the tool to fail. Please refer to the error help for potential solutions, or contact Esri Technical Support http://esriurl.com/support. Cannot acquire a lock. Cannot acquire a lock. Failed to execute (CalculateField). No other files are open and no other instances of Pro or desktop are running. The same procedure works fin in Desktop.

As part of a Python script I am trying to pass coordinates into CreateFishnet_management. According to the help file, the syntax for the origin coordinate should be '610433.5 4956420.5'; however, my code throws the following error: Invalid value type for parameter origin_coord. Here is part of my script
fcFishnet = "C:\\Users\\fastth\\Documents\\Projects\\Eau Claire\\SmallNetTest.shp"
xOrigin = 610433.5
yOrigin = 4956420.5
xOppositeCorner = 610484.5
yOppositeCorne = 4956480.5
plotWidth = 1.5
plotHeight = 5
units = "Feet"
originCoord = "'" + str(xOrigin) + " " + str(yOrigin) + "'"
print originCoord
oppositeCoord = "'" + str(plotWidth) + " " + str(plotHeight) + "'"
#Create the fishnet
arcpy.CreateFishnet_management(fcFishnet, originCoord, originCoord, plotHeight, plotWidth, oppositeCoord, "NO_LABELS", "DEFAULT", "POLYGON")
The print statement returns '610433.5 4956420.5' I tried reversinig the use of single & double quotes to get "610433.5 4956420.5" Finally I tried: originCoord = arcpy.Point(xOrigin,yOrigin) No luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (code [thread=48475]formatted[/thread])

I would like to change the color of directories in a model. Normally they are represented by a blue oval. I tried changing it to have a light purple fill color by right-clicking on it and selecting Display Properties. The moment the model is validated it reverts back to blue (even if I save the model first). How do I set the model to retain this color?

I am new to model builder. I have a model which requires the user to enter the field name for a Calculate Field GP task. My question is how do I set up in Model builder so that when the user starts it it gives him the choice of which Field Name to use for the Calculate Field GP step in the model? Calculate field does not seem to be able to allow the user to enter in a field name. Here is a screen shot of my model:
