Hi, Does anyone know if this solution also works for Pro last version (2.9.*) ? I've followed all the steps but it doesn't work, so maybe I'm doing something wrong or something changed for Pro. Thanks, Fabian

Hi, In order to export the ArcGIS Pro Annotations into another system, I have to get the coordinates and angle of each letter from a given annotation; so far I’m able to do this when the annotations baselines are points or lines but when it comes to Bezier curves I don’t quite understand the SHAPE data structure, hence I don’t know how to calculate the exact position and angle of each letter. See the examples in the attached files please. By the way, I’m using the Pro SDK C# to do this, Pro version: 2.9.2 Can someone give me some tips of how to achieve this please? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Best, Fabian

Hi ! Currently there's no way to call an ArcGIS Pro SDK Add-In from a python script. So, I implemented a workaround: I created a Console Application, which will be called from a python script, like an entry-point. Note: This workaround only works if you're working with "ArcGIS.Core" and "ArcGIS.Corehost" assemblies, it crashes for all the other assemblies (ArcGIS.Desktop.*) Cheers,

Hi, Do you know if there’s a way to split an annotation into letters in order to get the geometry position and orientation of each letter? Cheers, Fabian

Hi, I need to implement the ArcGIS Pro annotations' feature "Convert to Multiple Parts" (see Image #2) in my code C#, but I didn't find how to do it using the ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET, I don't even know if it's possible. So, does anybody know if it can be achievable through the Pro SDK? And if it's the case, how? Thanks, Convert annotation to multiple parts—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop Image (1) Image (2) Image (3)

Hi Charlie! Actually all our production line is based on ArcPy scripts, however we’re using ArcGIS Pro SDK for .Net (C#) for one specific functionality that can’t be done with ArcPy: export the annotations baselines (the polylines not the bounding box polygons) into a new Feature Class, that’s why we need to call C# code from Python. So the functionalities that have been implemented in C# are: Retrieve the annotations baselines and the attributs from a given Annotation Layer Create a new Feature Class Insert the annotations baselines and the attributs into the new Feature Class Would you have any idea how we could accomplish this? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards.

Hi ! I created an Add-in project using the ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET (C#) and now I'm trying to call the Add-in methods from my Python scripts using ArcPy but I didn't find neither documentation nor examples how to achieve this, I've tried some things however it didn't work and now I'm stuck... So I'm wondering if someone knows or has any ideas how to do this ? Thank you.
