@NaicongLi Doesn't seem to be working for me. I am using Pro 3.2. I think I have enabled correct settings: project > options > catalog view > expand to current location. I have also started a new project. Any ideas?

@BrianBaldwin For us, it isn't specific tools, it's 3rd party software that requires ArcGIS Desktop. This is the list to the best of my knowledge: ArcSWAT - https://swat.tamu.edu/software/arcswat/ HAZUS - https://www.fema.gov/flood-maps/tools-resources/flood-map-products/hazus/software TBEST - https://tbest.org/

I'm at the same org as @NancyMontes_de_Soto. The issue doesn't appear to be limited to just her hub-linked storymaps, I'm seeing it intermittently for all of our storymaps. Here is a random example: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/7dcbd4729b4040fc8db1e43df294eede It will load sometimes, and not others.

In my situation, I don't need to update the metadata automatically, but I would like an email immediately on any change to the metadata. It would be great if I could update automatically, but only certain users at my institution can submit metadata files.

This would be great! We end up spending a lot of time helping users at our org transfer content when they are leaving. With group ownership of items, the overhead of transferring content would really be reduced.

Max, Thanks so much for the reply! Unfortunately, I'm not using ArcGIS Server, only clients, so I can't try that patch. I did try renaming the layout and map frame in ArcGIS Pro, but that didn't fix the issue. Killing the python session is still working though, so I think I have a fix for now. -Sam

I am having the same issue. I can get it to run in one environment but not the other. I've tried with both ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro and both are failing on Windows Server 2019 Datacenter. The working environment is Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. A possible breakthrough on the non-working server is to kill the python process when I'm finished doing the export. Here is a snippet of code that I'm using with 3.7.10 import signal
pid = os.getpid()
os.kill(pid, signal.SIGTERM) My initial tests seem to show this is working, but I don't know what other issues this might cause. I am using FireDaemon to manage my service, and I had to adjust some of the lifecycle settings to get it to work. One other note, this seems to be a BUG-000106464. There is recent activity on this bug, so hopefully, we get a fix or workaround soon. edit to add: My service always runs one time successfully, then hangs. Perhaps this is different than your issue?

This would be great! What I would like is to just customize a response that would put a link to our AGOL FAQs for our org. 99% of the time it's just a password reset request, but we use SSO, so it's not a password reset they need, the user just needs to know how to log in. @PeterKnoop had a great workaround, which was to create an admin user with a gmail account, then set custom reply filters on the gmail account. If "password" is in the body of the email have gmail reply back to the user with specific instructions for login. I haven't actually tried this but I've been meaning to give it a shot.

Our university utilizes SAML logins to AGOL for ArcGIS Pro authentication. All users are getting a timeout warning that ArcGIS Pro will expire in X days. The same thing happened last year and we were told it would automatically refresh, and it did. With our license refresh date moved from 12/22 to 11/22 (from xmas break to mid fall semester) and increased adoption of ArcGIS Pro, the number of panic emails has increased.

For anyone interested, I spoke to Esri tech support via the now working arcgiscompanion@esri.com and it turns out the issue was caused by the html tags in the Org description. I believe the developers are going to roll out a fix for this.

I've been having an issue using the ArcGIS Companion App. It's crashing every time I click the organizational button at the bottom. This has been on going for several months. I'm using Android 9 on Pixel 3. I've installed the latest version of ArcGIS Companion (2.3). I have the administrator role under our organizational account. I had another administrator try the updated 2.3 app from his iphone, and they got the same issue. In the app store the developer said to contact arcgiscompanion@esri.com but I'm getting a bounce when I send to that email. Here is a screen shot of my phone and the button with the button I'm clicking circled in red in case it helps.
